DON'T expect to hear a Robbie Williams and 50 Cent duet any time soon.

Tempers flared when the pair found themselves in the same hotel in Berlin on Friday - it seems the five-star Ritz-Carlton wasn't big enough for the both of them.

Fiddy and his hell-raising hangers-on did their usual trick of partying loudly till dawn in the bar after a night on the town.

But poor Robbie - who'd gone to bed at a very civilized 2am after sipping tea all night - had his people make a complaint because his beauty sleep was being disturbed.

That was after 50 Cent had gone into a paddy when his blacked-out people-carrier was mobbed outside the hotel... by Robbie fans.

Our spy in Germany reveals: "Robbie spent the evening with members of his band in the bar, just sipping tea and mineral water. They were a very quiet presence, just chatting away.

"He had rehearsals the next day and he always takes them very seriously. He was in real need of a good night's sleep".

Meanwhile, Fid's rowdy crew had spent the night sampling the clubs of the city before rolling into the hotel at 4am.

Says our mole: "They kept the bar open, draining it, and they kept asking if they could play rap music in the lobby.

"Then they were running up and down to their rooms, getting room service and turning up their TVs and stereos.

"Staff were trying to keep up with the demands, but 50's lot were making so much noise.

"After the complaints from Robbie's people, hotel managers had to ask 50's security to take control of the gang.

"The guys looked pretty unimpressed - most hadn't even heard of Robbie.

But the guys in Fiddy's crew were already peeved at Robbie. Our source explains: "During the day there were about 100 people waiting to catch sight of Rob. When 50 drove up the crowd started chanting 'Robbie, Robbie' until they realised it wasn't him.

"Fiddy and his guys all came into the hotel with faces like thunder. So being asked to pipe down later didn't go down so well."

Stoke-on-Trent's finest kept his distance until the group left - a very wise move. Last week the entourage were involved in a fight in a hotel bar in Milan. And in Nice riot cops were called when fans tried to storm their bus.

Our Robbie continued his "wild" weekend by ordering room service for himself and his bandmates as they watched England beat Austria on telly on Saturday afternoon. Then he rehearsed for last night's storming gig.

So the Centsible behaviour paid off then, Rob.
