That's a pity. He's a nasty piece of work, but he does bring a certain amount of entertainment. John Altman is a good actor.

Dot doesn't want anything to do with him after what happened with Ashley, so I can't see him returning.

Yes but Dot never wants him to return, he just shows up. It's part of his charm. I hate Nick Cotton for what he's put Dot through over the years, but I think he's a good character.

If he was ever to return I think it would have to a brief visit. He always causes the utmost destruction and then leaves, it's what he does. I wouldn't want the life that Dot has now to be spoiled by Nick so much that it effects her marriage to Jim, or the life that she has built up.

Yes, but Nick only seemed to show up because of his ma or Ashley, and with Ashley dead and Dot wanting nothing to do with him, I don't think he would return.

Maybe. Nick did seem very regretful of what happened to Ashley, perhaps his shame will prevent him from returning in the future.

Nick cotton is one character i would like to see back in albert square. he was a much bigger baddie than any the mitchells would ever be. He would wipe the floor with fat hobbit phil and his poison dwarf mother.
