Sunday, 25th September
A bruised Les arrives back at the Battersbys’ wearing a neck brace. He is egged on by Cilla to sue the Quo for compensation. She phones up a number of lawyers but they don’t believe that the Quo assaulted Les and hang up on her. But Cilla won’t be deterred and drags Les to a solicitors’ to show them his injuries in person. After an unsuccessful day, the wayward couple go to the Rovers and discuss Les’s fight to Kirk. But Kirk leaves the pair gobsmacked when he produces a set of ‘pap’ pictures he took of the fight. Cilla is overjoyed and kisses Kirk, declaring the ‘compo’ claim firmly back on!

Jamie is being sent away to Holland by Danny so he can secretly spend time with Leanne. But Danny has forgotten that Frankie has booked a table for them at The Clock to commemorate his deceased Dad’s birthday. Danny gives Leanne £100 to go and amuse herself elsewhere, so she decides to rub his nose in it and take Janice to the Clock as well. Janice can’t believe her luck and as the two women get more and more drunk, Leanne lets slip that she is having an affair with a married man. Will she tell a shocked Janice who the mystery man could be?

Over at the Platts’, an upbeat Gail tells Sarah that she feels unburdened by talking her heart out to Phil. She wishes Sarah would try it but she isn’t so keen. Meanwhile, after sly Sean has a chat with Phil about his friendship with Gail, Phil goes to see Eileen and invites her out for a drink! Who does Phil prefer?

Monday, 26th September, 19.30
Leanne refuses to confess to her secret lover’s identity but Janice is determined to find out. When Leanne’s phone rings Janice grabs it but it is only Jamie. Janice pretends that she is going to bingo and unsuspecting Leanne plans a naughty night in with Danny. He shows up and they instantly embrace. But it is not long before cunning Janice sneaks back to the flat. Do they manage to give her the slip, or does she catch the guilty lovers in the act?

At the Batterbys’, Les is still in turmoil at the prospect of suing the grand daddies of rock. But Cilla is relentless and tells him that there is no room for sentiment when there could be serious cash involved. They prepare to meet the Quo’s lawyers but the more Les gets depressed about the whole affair, the more Cilla is irritated. Does Cilla manage to drag Les down to the solicitors?

And in Underworld, Sean and the girls tease Kelly about her fondness for Lloyd. It is obvious she has fallen for him, even though she refuses to admit it. She organises to take him out to see one of his favourite bands but he cancels last minute, telling her he can’t go because it’s darts night at his pub. Kelly is hurt by this but is even more upset when she finds out that there is no darts team at his local!

And Liz starts work at the bakery, but has to warn amorous Diggory to keep his hands to himself.

Danny and Leanne are red-faced as they are caught by Janice, who cannot believe her eyes. Danny tries to make excuses by pretending that he was hugging Leanne for making his son so happy, but Janice can see through his lies and smugly informs him that she already knew Leanne was having an affair. Leanne finds this scenario highly amusing but Danny is mortified and scarpers out of the flat. But during a boozy night in the Rovers, Janice and Danny bump into each other and in desperation Danny threatens to ruin Janice if she ever tells a soul about what she saw. Does Janice back down?

In Status Quos lawyers’ office the conference starts shakily, but once Kirk’s photographs are produced the Quo’s brief is dismayed. He tries best to salvage the situation realising that they may have to pay Les damages, especially when Les’s solicitor mentions that he may well sell the snaps to the tabloids. The lawyers thrash it out by bounding around huge sums of money, but what does Les finally settle for from the Quo?

Kelly knows that Lloyd is lying to her about the darts team but cannot bring herself to ask him the truth. She tells Janice she would rather bury her head in the sand than know that he may have another woman on the side.

And elsewhere, Eileen enjoys an evening with Phil but Jason ruins the moment

Wednesday, 28th September
Janice turns up late for work and during the day continues to have sly digs at her boss, and backchats him when ever possible in front of the other workers. The girls are astonished when Danny backs down and lets Janice rip into him. He goes to see Leanne in a desperate bid to get her to get her ‘evil stepmother’ to leave him alone, but Leanne just thinks Janice is just having a bit of fun and tells him not take to her too seriously.

Gail is stunned when she sees Eileen in the pub. Eileen gloats about her previous cosy night in with Phil and tells Gail that she and her family are just another chapter in his thesis. Gail storms home just as a reluctant Sarah is about to do her interview with Phil, and throws him out for leading her on.

And Kelly decides to take the girls’ advice and follow Lloyd. She and the factory girls tail Lloyd as he sets about his evening, and watch him as he arrives at a strange woman’s house. Kelly tries to convince herself that he could be visiting his sister or mother, but when they catch sight of Lloyd snogging a sexy blonde in the porchway, Kelly’s fears are confirmed. What does the feisty factory worker do?

Meanwhile, Nathan and Tracy are still enjoying each other’s company, with Tracy using the situation to try and twist the knife in Steve.

Friday, 30th September
Violet and Jason have a wild night out clubbing but Violet is still troubled about what happened between her and Charlie a few weeks ago. Once back at the Grimshaws, Violet’s guilt is still heavy on her shoulders, and due to the alcohol decides to tell Jason the truth. She warns him that he could hate her forever for what she is about to say but Jason is still too giddy from his evening partying and doesn’t take her seriously. But when she tells him that Charlie kissed her and she reciprocated he is floored. Disgusted, he shouts at her to sleep on the couch and goes upstairs to cry his heart out.

Across the cobbles in Underworld, Janice continues her arrogant stance against Danny by lighting up a cigarette inside the factory and generally being lippy. She orders Danny to ‘put a little extra in her pay packet’ to buy her silence but Danny calls her bluff. Defiant Janice storms out to find Frankie to tell her a few home truths. Does Janice spill the beans on Weatherfield’s most illicit affair?

And in the bakery, Diggory is triumphant at hiring Liz as she is a total man magnet for the shop. Everybody is going to the bakery for their lunch and Diggory dreams up the idea of Liz doing a delivery service on a push bike. Does Liz agree?

Over in Roy’s Rolls, Claire and Ashley join Martin and Robyn for dinner and they all learn a bit more about Martin’s new love interest.

I knew Violet wouldn't be able to live with herself, she seems really traumatised by what happened with Charlie. It's very sad for her and Jason's relationship, but I think he'll come round when he realises what scum Charlie is. Jason really loves Violet and the fact that Shelley knows all about it and hasn't sacked her must say something.
