Lucy wakes up to the realisation that Bruno has burnt all of her clothes. He knows that if she wants to leave the house without his permission again, she must do so in her pyjamas. Lucy however has other ideas and puts together a home-made outfit to wear while she goes shopping for new clothes.
Amber takes the bottle that she found in Pundarik’s changing bag to a pathologist. It’s not long before her suspicions are confirmed – Pundarik was smothered in fake tan when he died! This means that Tanya has Amber’s real baby and has the audacity to ask her to be Godmother! Amber pleads with Conrad to get a DNA test done on Troy to see if Tanya is his mother. Conrad responds by threatening to have her sectioned – she’s already paternity tested him, what more does she need?
Shannon visits Katie to check out Harley’s story – she is determined to get to the bottom of what really happened in Spain. Meanwhile, Harley is finding it tough being around Bruno, who he now believes to be the rapist, and blurts out an accusation on the pitch. Hazel makes Harley apologise for his unsubstantiated claims but Bruno sees the writing on the wall – Harley’s a better player than him and if he needs to suck up to stay on the team then so be it. The rest of the lads are pissed off with Harley for not sticking by his team-mates and he is forced to make a grudging apology, he then has no choice but to withdraw the accusation totally when Bruno offers to hire a private detective to track the so-called rape victim down.
The brave smile is wiped from Lucy’s face when Bruno comes home to find that she’s been shopping in his absence. He chucks the clothes on top of the old bonfire and, to Lucy’s horror, he sets it alight. They struggle and Lucy hurts her hand as she falls to the floor. Lucy is horrified when she sees her daughter in the background…Angelica’s witnessed it all.
It’s the day of baby Troy’s Greek themed christening. Beautiful white statues of Gods adorn the grounds of Conrad and Tanya’s palatial home, while servants dressed in gold togas serve drinks to their happy guests. Shannon can’t resist having a dig at Bruno, leading Harley to realise that she might be a liability in keeping Katie’s true identity quiet. Already suspicious about the fact that Tanya and Amber’s babies were born at the same time, Hazel is finding even harder to swallow Tanya’s saintly act with Amber. And when she sees Lucy’s bandaged hand she becomes more suspicious of Bruno too. Hazel also has her eye on Noah who has arrived at the christening with Bethany. Noah is nervous about the prospect of becoming Godfather to Troy, but Bethany is confident in him – and her dad thinks he’s great too, especially after receiving a great big cheque.
The mood is shattered when Godmother Amber takes to the podium to drop her bombshell. Brandishing the new report from the pathologist, she tells the congregation that Tanya fake-tanned Pundarik to hide the fact that she had swapped him with her real son, Troy. Tanya switches to saintly mode and once again manages to come out on top – hasn’t she been good taking in Amber like that when she’s clearly mental?
As an inconsolable Amber takes off with Conrad in close pursuit, Shannon decides that it’s time to cut Bruno down to size. In front of everyone, she tells Lucy that Bruno was shagging around in Spain. Lucy is horrified and later, demands a divorce. Bruno manages to talk her round eventually, but is forced to agree to her terms – she wants help around the house and a job of her own.
Noah feigns enthusiasm when Bethany hints at an early night back at his house – he’s about to discover what it’s like to be with a woman – whether he wants to or not! Darius meanwhile thinks he’s in there with Katie and takes her to see his new boat. Katie discovers that Darius’s sea legs disappear as soon as they leave the marina, but even so, he’s still intent on some action – she can’t go until she’s met the skipper! Katie experiences another flash-back – it was Darius who raped her and now she’s all alone with him! Katie knocks him out when he emerges from the toilet, but thanks to Harley she’s now without her meat cutters…there must be another way for her to get revenge.
