Airing Monday, 19th September 2005 at 19:00 on ITV1

Callum waits in a lay-by for a contact to pull in and present him with fake passports for Zoe, Effie and the two children. He is later stunned when he returns to Home Farm to find Zoe and Effie kissing and storms out with the documents before speeding off in his car.

Zoe is distraught, knowing that her plan cannot work without him. But will Callum return to help her flee the village in time?

Over in the Woolpack, Rodney brags about being the new owner of Home Farm. Sadie overhears and goes to congratulate him. She asks what he paid and when he tells her £3.5m she manipulatively says that Zoe was offering it for far less. Rodney is left thoughtful, but will he change his mind?

Meanwhile, Tom takes his family to the field behind the vets where there is a huge billboard advertising the new development. How will his sons react when they see a giant picture of Tom and Sadie?

One-hour special

Zoe leaves a panic-stricken message on Callum’s phone and she is thankful when he eventually arrives home with the passports. Effie gets the kids together and they go to catch their plane, whilst Zoe and Callum head for the boat.

They arrive at the Marina in Ireland and Zoe waits with anticipation for Effie, Joseph and Jean. She is excited when the seaplane arrives but is stunned when Sadie King steps out. Zoe is furious to learn that Sadie and Effie have set her up and that Jean is back at Home Farm.

Unwilling to be separated from her daughter, a distraught Zoe has no choice but to return home with Sadie. She is forced to sign over Home Farm to the Kings and is beside herself in the knowledge that she can’t escape the trial. Does this mean that Zoe is destined for a future behind bars?

Meanwhile, Max feels depressed after his first official working day at ‘King & Sons’ and tells Robert that he regrets ever setting foot in Emmerdale.

Paddy refuses to respond to Zoe’s attempts of blackmail and so she is forced to attend court with no idea of what he plans to say.

Scott is also aware that Paddy holds the cards to his future and follows him home. Scott pins the vet up against a wall and warns him not to cross him. As a final threatening gesture Scott knees Paddy in the groin and he falls to the floor. Having been harassed by both parties, which way will Paddy go when he takes the stand the following day?

Elsewhere, Tom is thrilled to be the proud owner of Home Farm and is smug as he shares the news with his sons. Jimmy is stunned to hear that Sadie is responsible and he clearly feels uncomfortable.

Meanwhile, Rodney goes to Home Farm to do some measuring up and is horrified when Callum informs him that it has been sold to Tom.

One-hour special

It’s the day of the trial and Zoe puts on a brave face as Ashley comes over to look after Joseph and Jean. She hugs her children tight as she says goodbye, fearing that it could be the last time she sees them.

As the court case commences, Paddy is pacing the floor outside. When the vet eventually takes to the stand, both Zoe and Scott watch with fear and the entire congregation are shocked by what he has to say. The jury give their verdict, but will they find Zoe ‘guilty’ or ‘not guilty’?

Meanwhile, Robert takes Debbie out for a picnic in the countryside, and although she is enjoying his company at first, she becomes uneasy when he kisses her, and runs away. Robert finds Debbie and assures her that he genuinely likes her, but will she fall for his charms?

Airing Friday, 23rd September 2005 at 19:00 on ITV1

The high emotions of the week become too much for Scott who finds himself involved in a fight. Dawn tries to break it up but ends up being punched in the face. For once Scott’s usually overprotective mother sees that her son is in the wrong. Viv tells him that from now on he is on his own.

There is a knock on the door and Viv answers to two police officers. They tell Scott that he is under arrest for assault and as he is lead off he pleads with his mother to help him. Viv is unable to look him in the eye as he is dragged away.

Meanwhile, Val decides chatting up a wealthy business man could be the answer to her money worries and she sashays over to a gentleman in the Woolpack. She is delighted when he takes her business card but she is completely unaware that he is a bailiff. Could there be trouble on the horizon?

Haha, go Sadie! Lol, i knew the Kings would end up with Home Farm! Sounds like an exciting ep, cant wait!
