I haven't watched corrie for a long time,got fed up with the Tracy and Karen thing, so stopped watching, but I think I will tune in again, and give it a go now, love status quo and the story lines seem to be improving.

My wife knew Rick and Francis very well. Some time before I met her and they became famous, her then boyfriend, who was a guitarist, used to play with them round the local pubs and Linda even sang with them sometimes. She used to enjoy these sessions and she always said what a really nice bloke Rick was.

Very sad news. Sadly in keeping with 2016. Let's hope that's its last gasp and we'll have a better year in 2017.

Yet another maker of memorable music passed away. Neither met or knew him only saw him on TV, and he came across as being a really nice guy, born out by your comments parkerman. Strange through the media of TV that gut feeling whether positive or negative about celebs seems to show.
