Hi this is my soap and a bit of a friendly rival to Exeter. Here is the cast then I will write the first part of 13 for this season.

Episode 1
Scene1
The Pub
Tommy: Double Vodka please Ste
Ste: Whats wrong with you?
Tommy: What do you think?
Ste: The bookies?
Tommy: Yes, Ive been ripped off!
Scene2
Audreys flat. Ben is sat at the table looking worried Audrey spots this and starts to question.
Audrey: Ben?
Ben: Yeh mum?
Audrey: Whats wrong? Your looking worried about something.
Ben: Someone keeps texting me.
Audrey: Oh leave it. It will be a prank.
Scene 3
The market. Lindsay is walking through the market when Peter jogs up to her.
Peter: (Panting) Lindsay
Lindsay: Not again! Havent I told you enough of times Im not interested.
Peter: Please
Lindsay: Leave me alone!!!
Scene 4
In the pub
Tommy is on his 5th Vodka. Damien is getting angry.
Tommy: (looking around) looking happy tonight arent we. You all try to rip me off. I deserve respect.
Ste: Tommy I think you have had enough.
Tommy: Ill tell you when Ive had enough.
Damien: (standing up) shut up and finish your drink Gallagher!
Tommy: Its Tommy to you!
Damien sits back down.
Scene 5
Peter goes around to Lindsays. Lindsay answers the door.
Lindsay: Not again.
Peter: Im not leaving till you say yes.
Lindsay: Im never going to get rid off you am I?
Peter: No
Lindsay: OK then we will go on a date.
Scene 6
Audreys flat. Ben recieves a text.
Ben: (worried) Mum, look at this text.
Audrey looks at the text and is shocked and very worried. The text read 'I know where you are. Youll be surprised!!
Audrey: Turn your phone off
Ben: Do you have any idea who it is?
Audrey: No. we are not to go out until I say so.
Scene 7
The pub.
Tommy is still drinking.
Tommy: Damien,Damien,Damien. My good friend Damien.
Damien: What now Tommy?
Tommy: (Whispering in Damiens ear.) Dont you ever give backchat to me again. Do I make myself clear?
Damien: Am I mean to be scared off you Gallager? Give me your best shot!
Tommy decks Damien.
Scene 8
At Audreys flat. There is a knock at the door.
Ben: I wonder who that is.
Audrey: Well I better go and find out.
Audrey opens the door and she looks like she has seen a ghost.
Audrey: Oh no what do you want?
Audreys ex huspand Wayne is smirking at the door

Scene 1
At Audreys front door. Wayne is standing their smirking.
Ben: (coming into the hall) Who is it m.....
Wayne: Hello son.
Ben: D..dad what are you doing here?
Wayne: Private stuff between me and your mum. Long time no see!
Audrey: Go back into the lounge Ben.
Scene 2
The hound. Peter is waiting for Lindsay with some flowers.
Maria: Hi pete. Expecting someone?
Peter: Yes. Lindsay.
Maria: So shes finally decided to go on a date with you then?
Peter: (smiling) Yes Maria. She has.
Scene3
Jones' corner shop. Tommy enters to Damiens disbelief.
Damien: I cant believe you have the nerve to come in here.
Tommy: Well... where am I meant to go?
Damien: Any shop apart from this one.
Tommy: So your barring me then?
Tommy starts to laugh.
Scene 4
Back at the pub Peter is still waiting for Lindsay.
Maria: Peter. Are you sure she said yes?
Peter: She will be here.
Lindsay: I know I will.
Scene 5
At Audreys flat Wayne is becoming more intimidating.
Audrey: Wayne I dont want you here.
Wayne: I know you dont
Audrey: Well leave then.
Wayne: No I wont leave. Your my wife.
Audrey: I was your wife!
Wayne: Legally you still are because I have not signed the divorce papers and I am not intending to. Now let me in.
Audrey: No! Your not my huspand any more. I hate you!!!
Wayne pushes Audrey against the stairs and knocks her out. He walks into the lounge.
Scene 6
Corner shop!
Damien: Get out and dont come back.
Tommy: Make me get out!
Damien: Your barred.
Tommy: Fine.
Tommy smashes jars of coffee of the shelf.
Tommy: Your food was out of date anyway!
Damien looks angry.
Scene 7
At a posh resteraunt. Peter and Lyndsay are sitting down to a posh meal.
Peter: Enjoying yourself?
Lindsay: Yeh. I am actually.
Peter: Told you that youd enjoy yourself. So are we going to do this again?
Lindsay: (smiling) Yes. Ok.
Scene 8
At Audreys flat. Wayne enters the living room.
Ben: Oh Dad.
Wayne: Son.
Ben: W..Wheres mum?
Wayne: Shes ermmm gone for a lie down.
Ben: Did she say you could come in?
Wayne: (moving towards Ben) No!
Wayne beats up Ben and writes a note.
Wayne: (looking at a knocked out Ben) Sorry son!
Wayne leaves leaving Ben and Audrey unconcious.

Scene 1
Audreys flat. Audrey is starting to come around.
Scene 2
The hound. Paul is having a drink when Damien confronts him.
Damien: Paul
Paul: What?
Damien: Tell your friend Tommy Gallagher that if he wants a war he can have one.
Paul: What are you on about?
Damien: Gallagher will know.
Scene 3
Back at Audreys flat. Audrey gets to her feet.
Audrey: Oh my God! What has he done to my house. Ben?
Ben doesnt reply and Audrey heads to the living room.
Scene 4
The pub. Paul is still drinking his dring.
Dianne enters.
Dianne: V and T please Maria:
Paul: Dianne! Come and sit over here. I need some company.
Dianne: Ok. Im over here Maria.
Scene 5
Audreys flat. Audrey enters the living room.
Audrey: Be....
Audrey sees Ben on the floor.
Audrey: Ben...Ben..
Audrey phones the ambulance.
Scene 6
The Pub.
Paul: Dianne?
Dianne: Yes
Paul: Have I ever told you that you have beautiful eyes.
Dianne: (flattered) No you havent Paul. Your not to bad either.
Paul: What you doing tonight?
Dianne: Nothing I dont think.
Paul: Do you want to head to a club?
Dianne: Love to. Can I have an hour to get changed?
Paul: Yeh sure Im not going anywhere.
Dianne: Alright. See you in a hour.
Scene 7
Tommys bookies. When there is a knock at the door.
Tommy: Come in.
Paul enters
Tommy: (looking up) Paul. Your not working today. What do you want?
Paul: Delivering a message from Damien Jones.
Tommy: What does that twit want now?
Paul: He said something along the lines as if you want a war you got one.
Tommy: Oooooh shacking!!
Paul: (laughing) Well Ill see you tomorrow Tom.
Scene 8
Audreys flat. The ambulance crew arrive.
Ambulance man: I guess you got some clothes and stuff for Ben.
Audrey: Shall I come down later?
Ambulance man: Yes that would be alot easier for you.
The ambulance crew leave leaving Audrey getting Bens stuff. Audrey finds a note written by Wayne it read, £10,000 in 2 weeks or there will be a death!

Episode 4
Scene 1
Outside the bookies. Every window has been smashed. People are walking past looking at the windows.
Scene 2
Tommy is walking through the market to the bookies when he sees a crowd gathered outside the bookies.
Tommy: How come your all here? Not a big card today is it?
Barry: Someone has bricked your windows Tommy.
Tommy: (angrily) You what? I bet I know whoose done this.
Scene 3
Pauls bedroom. Dianne and Paul are talking in bed.
Paul: (yawning) What did we do last night?
Dianne: We went to a club.
Paul: So thats why I feel rough!
Dianne: (cheekily) There could be other reasons!
Paul laughs.
Scene 4
Outside the bookies Tommy is talking to Barry.
Barry: So who do you think done it?
Tommy: Not think. I know who done it.
Barry: Who?
Tommy: Damien Jones!
Barry: Damien? Do this? Are you joking!
Tommy: Believe me bro it was Damien Jones. Weve been getting on at each other recently.
Barry: So what are you going to do?
Tommy: Ill tell you what I'm going to do.
Tommy and Barry head into the office.
Scene 5
Pauls bedroom.
Paul: So...Are we going to do this again?
Dianne: Of course we are. Ive had a great night...Right breakfast!
Paul: (cuddling upto Dianne) Another half an hour!
Dianne: Ok!!
Scene 6
Tommys office. Tommy and Barry are talking.
Barry: So then what are you going to do.
Tommy: You and Paul
Barry: What about us?
Tommy: You and Paul are going to give Damien a little visit! And your going to teach him a lesson!
Barry: Wheres Paul?
Tommy: With Dianne probably. Ill give him a ring.
Tommy rings Paul.
Scene 7
Pauls room. Pauls mobile rings.
Paul: (looking at his phone) Tommy. He must want me in.
Paul picks up the phone.
Paul: Hi Tommy. Yes Ill come in as soon as. Ok Ill be 15 minutes.
Dianne: What did he want?
Paul: He wants me in. Sorry Dianne. Ill catch up with you later.
Scene 8
Tommys office. Paul enters.
Paul: So what do you want me for?
Tommy: See the windows? Damien Jones. I think its time he learns a lesson!
Paul: Ill give him a beating!
Scene 9
Damiens shop. Barry and Paul arrive and lock the door behind them.
Barry: Morning Damien!
Damien: (Turning around seeing bats in Paul and Damiens hand) Oh no!
Barry and Paul beat Damien up.

your script is really good i love the audrey wayne storyline i cant wait to see how it works out. i think that audrey should kill wayne or something and then he should come back later and get his revenge more soon please

Maria: That new familys arriving today arent they?
Ste: Yeh. More customers for the pub!
Maria: I wonder what their like.

Damiens corner shop. Damien is on the floor.

The hospital. Audrey is sat by Bens bed when Ben wakes up.
Ben: M..m...mum
Audrey: Ben! Your in the hospital love.
Ben: It was dad!
Audrey: I know it was dear and he wont get away with this.
Scene 4
The market. A car is coming through. The car stops outside no14
Leah: So......Is this it?
Jackie: Leah be greatful.
Leah: I am greatful!
Scott: Home sweet Home.
Scene 5
Lyndsay and Peter are walking through the market. When Lyndsay spots Scott
Peter: What is it?
Lyndsay: Nothing.
Peter: You look like a kid whoose just entered a sweet shop.
Scene 6
Outside no14
Scott: (spotting Lyndsay) Oh yes. Some nice girls around here. Sorted!
Jimmy: Scott! You shouldnt be thinking like that.
Scene 7
Outside Bens hospital room Audrey is looking worried.
Nurse: What is it Mrs.Nichollos?
Audrey: ...Nothing Im just thinking about everything.
Nurse: Dont worry. Ben will be fine.
Scene 8
Outside the shop Susan is walking past with Sam.
Susan: Whys the door shut?
Sam: Dunno. Maybe Dads out. Use your key.
Susan opens the door.
Susan: Damien whys the door....

Good idea. My finale is very very explosive. Good idea to host our own soap awards. Maybe we should also do a spinoff where some of my characters meet some of yours.

The shop. Susan is talking to Damien after he has come round.
Susan: Damien who has done this?
Damien: You dont need to know.
Susan: Damien you know whoose done this.

The Lawfords
Jimmy: What you doing today Scott?
Scott: Well Im bursting for a pint so Im going to the pub.
Scene 3
The shop.
Susan: So who done it?
Damien:...Tommy Gallagher sent his men around this morning.
Susan: Ill give Tommy Gallagher what for!
Damien: Be careful around him. Hes a nutcase.
Susan: Nutcase? You aint seen me yet!
Susan storms out.
Scene 4
Lyndsay is having a drink when Scott arives.
Maria: Hi. Ive not seen you around here before.
Scott: I know weve just moved in over the road.
Maria: So whats your name?
Scott: Scott Lawford.
Maria: So what can I get you?
Scott: A pint of lager and whatever the beautiful woman in the corner is having.
Scott points at Lyndsay and Lyndsay smiles.
Scene 5
Tommys bookies. Tommy is on the phone in the back.
Tommy: Yes I will lend you some money no problem...
There is a knock at the door.
Tommy: Hold on...Come in!
Susan enters
Scene 6
The pub. Scott has sat down with Lyndsay.
Lyndsay: Thanks for the drink
Scott: No problem. Anything for a beautiful woman.
Lyndsay: I noticed you before.
Scott: I noticed you to. And Id like to get to know you more.
Lyndsay: You asking me out?
Scott: Looks like that. What is your answer?
Scene 7
The bookies office.
Tommy: So what do you want Sue?
Susan: Its Damien...
Tommy: What about him?
Susan: Someone has beaten him up.
Tommy: And...
Susan: I want you to find out who it is who has done it.
Tommy: I would but...
Susan: but what? I actually have a feeling who done it.
Tommy: Who? Ill sort them out.
Susan: You cant sort yourself out can you Tommy!
Scene 8
Back at the Pub.
Scott: And your answer is...
Lyndsay: Ok then tomorrow 7:30!!!
Scott: Perfect. Gives me time to get some new aftershave!
Scene 9
Tommys bookies.
Tommy: So how do you know it is me.
Susan: Damien seen your henchman Barry and Paul.
Tommy: So what if he did get a beating. He deserved it.
Susan: Hes my huspand and NOBODY TOUCHES MY HUSPAND!!!

The market. Peter stops Lyndsay
Peter: Lyndsay!
Lyndsay: Hi babe. What do you want?
Peter: A date tonight.

Peter: Just be at the chinease for half past 6
Peter jogs off.

Audrey arrives home and there is a message on the phone. She doesnt check it.
Scene 4
The hound. The Lawfords arrive.
Ste: Oh hi. You must be the new family.
Jimmy: That we are.
Ste: Well welcome to Liverpool street and the hound.
Jimmy: Thanks.
Scene 5
Wayne is walking down the street and walks into the pub.
Ste: Hello. Who are you?
Wayne: Im...a friend of Audreys
Ste: Ohh Ok. Does Audrey know your around?
Wayne: No I want to give her a surprise.
Scene 6
Audreys flat. Audrey is asleep when her phone rings. It goes off before she could answer.
Scene 7
The chinease. Lyndsay arrives
Peter: Oh here she is now the special one.
Lyndsay: Hello Peter....Look Im going to have to be back for half 7
Peter: Anything special.
Lyndsay: No Ive just got to help my dad out at the shop.
Scene 8
Audrey is sat down ringing the hospital.
Audrey: Hello its Mrs.Nichollos
Nurse: Hello
Audrey: Did you just ring?
Nurse: No. Stop worrying Mrs.Nichollos Bens fine!
Audrey: (worried) Ok.
Scene 9
The pub. Lyndsay arrives
Scott: Oh about time.
Lyndsay: Sorry babe Ive been caught up.
Scott: Well lets get going then.
Scene 10
Audreys flat. There is a knock at the door. Audrey answers.
Wayne: Hello sweetheart.
Audrey: What do you want?
Wayne: Just a reminder about the note. £10,000 by next Tuesday or someone will die!
Announcement:- Merseysiders is now a soap with no seasons. So I have alot of writing to do. Dont worry were still going to have the episodes coming up. I will take a break when I can.

Episode 8
Scene 1
Audreys flat. Audrey is on the phone to the hospital.
Audrey: So Ben is allowed home today?
Nurse: Yes he has progressed tremendusly.
Audrey: Great! When can I pick him up?
Nurse: What ever time you feel best.
Audrey: Ok. Ill be there in the next hour.
Scene 2
The Jones'. Damien is talking to Susan.
Damien: That Gallagher wont get away with this.
Susan: Please Damien dont lower to his level.
Damien: Ill lower to whatever level I want!
Scene 3
Audrey is on her way to pick up Ben
Pat: Hi Audrey. You off to pick up Ben?
Audrey: Yes the nurses have said that he has progressed great.
Pat: Oh good. We'll catch up and have a good chat.
Scene 4
Tommy and the boys are in the office.
Tommy: I can believe that cow slapped me!
Barry: (laughing) Youve got to admit she got you well.
Tommy: You think its funny? You might think my master plan is funny aswell.
Paul: Master plan?
Tommy: Im going to kill him!...Im going to kill Jones and your going to help me!
Scene 5
The hospital. Audrey is getting Bens stuff.
Audrey: I cant thankyou enough. Thanks for taking care of my son.
Nurse: No problem! Its our job.
Audrey: Well then. Are you ready?
Ben and Audrey leave.
Scene 6
The Jones' house.
Susan: So what have you got planned?
Damien: Im going to burn down his bookies!
Susan: Damien no! He will kill you.
Damien: Not if I kill him first.
Scene 7
Audreys house.
Ben: Mum.
Audrey: Yes.
Ben: Why did Dad do it?
Audrey: because hes like that Ben.
Ben: Theres more to it than that. I can tell by your face.
Audrey: Ok you want to know? Dad wants £10,000 by next Tuesday or one of us is dead.
Scene 8
Bookies.
Paul: What do you mean were going to kill him?
Tommy: What do you think I mean? tickle him? Were going to blow him up in his shop! Let his corpse burn!

Lyndsay: No but come over if you want.
Lyndsay winks
Scene 3
Tommys bookies.
Paul: You cant do that Tom.
Tommy: Oh believe me I can.
Paul: Come on Tom. Have a heart, he has a wife and kids.
Tommy: And? Paul if you dont want to join then dont!
Scene 4
Diannes. Dianne is throwing up everywhere.
Veronica: What is wrong with you Dianne?
Dianne: I keep being sick everywhere.
Veronica: Any other symptoms?
Dianne: No.
Veronica: Well maybe a pregnancy test will do.
Scene 5
The Lawfords. Scott is talking to Jimmy.
Jimmy: Looks like your settling in well.
Scott: Yes Ive met a lovely girl called Lyndsay
Jimmy: Ooooh one dat.
Scott: Two,were going out tonight.
Scene 6
The bookies.
Paul: So what are we going to get for killing Damien?
Tommy: £2,000 each.
Paul: Wow.
Tommy: Yeh. So are you going to do it then?
Paul: For two grand Id do anything.
Scene 7
Lyndsay is the only one in and Scott arrives.
Scott: Hi babe.
Lyndsay: Come in
Scott: So what we doing tonight?
Lyndsay: Whatever you want.
Lyndsay leads Paul upstairs.
Scene 8
Diannes.
Veronica: So have you had a test?
Dianne: Yes
Veronica: And?
Dianne: Im pregnant.
Veronica: Thats great Dianne. Whoose the Dad?
Dianne: Its...Paul Taylor
Scene 9
Back at the Jones'. Their is a knock at the door and Susan answers.
Susan: Peter.
Peter: Hi is Lyndsay in?
Susan: Yes shes upstairs. Go up.
Peter goes upstairs and enters Lyndsays bedroom.
Lyndsay: Peter!
Scott: And this is?
Peter: Lyndsays boyfriend...SLAPPER!

Peter walks out and drops the flowers.

The bookies.
Tommy: (shouting) Paul!
Paul: Yeh Tom.
Tommy: Ive got something for you to post at the Jones' shop.
Paul: What is it?
Tommy: A death note...for Damien.
Scene 3
Audreys flat. Audrey is on the phone to someone.
Audrey: Are you up for a job?
man on phone: Call me Harry and what kind of job?
Audrey: The type of job which you do
Harry: A killing?
Audrey: Yes
Harry: Ok then shall we meet up?
Audrey: Yes tonight nine o'clock at the canal.
Scene 4
The Jones house
Scott: I cant believe you have been with him.
Lyndsay: Scott it was before you came. As soon as I saw you I fell in love with you.
Scott: So why have you been leading him on?
Lyndsay: I couldnt hurt him. I aint like that.
Scott: (hugging Lyndsay) aye. Come here. Its alright now.
Scene 5
Tommys bookies.
Paul: So your going through with it then?
Tommy: What do you think?
Paul: But...
Tommy: Remember whats in this for you! Now take it!
Scene 6
Audreys flat. Audrey is getting ready to go out.
Ben: Where you going?
Audrey: Just out. I wont be long.
Ben: What if anyone calls?
Audrey: Dont answer the door! Now bye.
Scene 7
Damiens shop. A letter comes through the door. Damien reads it.
Damien: I wonder who this is off. Well,bring it on.
Scene 8
Tommys bookies. Paul enters the office
Tommy: And?
Paul: Done it.
Tommy: And now time for the action!
Paul: When will we do it?
Tommy: 2 days!
Scene 9
By the canal. A man is waiting there when Audrey arrives.
Audrey: Hi
Man: Are you Audrey? Im Harry
Audrey: Yes this is Audrey.
Harry: So...you want a killing?

Diannes flat. Dianne comes into the kitchen.
Veronica: Whats up love? You look really down.
Dianne: How am I going to tell him?
Veronica: Paul?
Dianne: Yes. How do I tell him that hes the father of my child?
Veronica: Just tell him. Do you really think hes going to let you down when he knows hes going to be a dad?

Audrey arrives back.
Ben: About time. I was getting worried.
Audrey: Dont worry. It will all be over soon dear.

Tommys bookies.
Tommy: Barry.
Barry comes in.
Tommy: Are you up for this tonight?

Jones' house. Damien arrives home.

Tommys bookies. Paul arrives back.

Tommy: Never mind. Im sending you home anyway. Go and get a shower for tonight.

Audreys flat. Audrey is on the phone.
Audrey: Wayne its Audrey.

Paul has just gotten out of the shower when his phone rings.

Ben: Why are you putting your coat on?
Audrey: What do you think? Im going to bed.

Paul is walking across the street and enters the pub.
Paul: (spotting Dianne) Ok im here. What is it?
Dianne: Sit down.
Paul: I dont really hae time.
Dianne: So you dont really have time for your child?
Paul: I need to..... you what? What child?
Dianne: Im pregnant. Your going to be a dad.
Paul: Im...Im...a dad. Me a dad.
Dianne: Yes.
Dianne hugs Paul.
Paul: Look. If I could stay I would but I really have to go.
Dianne: Ok daddy get going!
Scene 2
Audrey leaves her flat when she gets a call.
Audrey: Hi Harry.
Harry: All sorted?
Audrey: Yes Im meeting him by the canal at half nine.
Harry: Ok. Theres no backing down now.
Scene 3
Tommys bookies. Tommy and Barry are waiting when Paul arrives.
Tommy: Whats with the look on your face? Your not backing out are you?
Paul: No.
Tommy: Well. What is it then?
Paul: Im....Im...going to be a dad.

Canal side.Audrey arrives and looks at her watch.
Scene 5
A taxi pulls up by the resteraunt. Wayne steps out.

Paul: Dianne. So ive got to be 100% sure that this doesnt go wrong.
Tommy: Dont worry. It wont go wrong. You can use the money for the kid. Now come on and be quiet.

Canal side. Wayne comes next to Audrey.
Audrey: Hello Wayne.
Wayne: Audrey. So...money please.
Audrey: Ive ermmm forgot it.
Wayne: Audrey I told you the stipulations no money by tonight and there will be a death.
Audrey: I know. I forgot the money.
Wayne: Well you know whats going to happen now....dont you!
Wayne moves towards Audrey.
Scene 8
The Jones corner shop. Damien is doing the books in silence.
Damien: So...it doesnt look like theyve turned up then!
Scene 9
Canal side. Wayne is moving towards Audrey.
Audrey: Wayne just remember all the great times we had.
Wayne: We did have some great times but that was then and this is now.
Scene 10
The shop. Tommy,Barry and Paul break into the back.
Damien: About time! I thaught you wernt coming. So....do it then!
Tommy: With pleasure.
Tommy hits Damien with a crow bar.
Tommy: Now Barry. Light that fire.
Barry lights a fire.
Scene 11
Audrey is getting worried by the canal.
Audrey: Are you really going to leave your son motherless?
Wayne: Yes! Hes coming home to his da....
Audrey looks at her watch.
Audrey: 10 o'clock. Worst hour of your life!
Harry walks around the corner.
Scene 12
The Jones. Susan is getting worried about Damien.
Sam: Mum wheres dad?
Susan: I dont know. Im going to his shop to find him.
Scene 13
Back of shop. Tommy and his men are talking.
Tommy: Good work boys. Now we go back to the bookies and when everyone is out we come out and act normal.
Scene 14
Canal side. Harry is holding Wayne at gunpoint.
Harry: Enjoy your death Wayne
Audreys face changes as we hear the gunshot.
Harry: This is the end of your nightmare Audrey. We will get rid of the body in the river.
Audrey:O....O....K.
Harry and Audrey get rid of Waynes body.
Harry: Now. Lets go and get on with our lives.
Scene 15
Susan closes in on the shop where people are gathering.
Susan: No...No....No...
Pat: Your shop. Wheres Damien.
Susan: Hes inside. NO! DAMIEN!!!
Susan breaks down on the floor and sobs.

Pat: Your going to promise me now that you think Damien is alive until it is comfirmed hes dead! Ok?

Tommys bookies. In the office, Tommy,Barry and Paul are talking.
Tommy: (pouring 3 glasses of whiskey) How easy was that?
Paul: Have a heart Tommy at this minute Susan will be finding out that her huspand is in their.
Tommy: I dont believe you Paul. Youve just killed someone! And you say have a heart!
Scene 3
A taxi pulls up at Audreys. Audrey gets out and sees ben at the front.
Audrey: Whats happened here?
Ben: Someone has burnt Damiens shop down. You look a bit white mum. Wherve you been?
Audrey: (snappy) Nowhere.
Scene 4
Outside the shop. A policeman comes up to Susan.
Policeman: Mrs. Jones?
Susan: Yes.
Policeman: Can I have a quiet word?
Susan: Y..Y..es
Scene 5
Audreys flat. Ben has sat audrey down.
Audrey: (looking at Ben) What?
Ben: Your hiding something from me
Audrey: Im not. What makes you think that?
Ben: I know when your lying!
Audrey: You obviously dont because Im not lying.
Scene 6
The Jones. Lyndsay and Sam are watching telly.
Sam: Where is mum?
Lyndsay: I dont know!
Sam: Shall I go looking for her?
Lyndsay: No. She wont be long.
Scene 7
In the pub. Susan is talking to a policeman.
Policeman: Susan. Im sorry to say but weve pulled a body out of the shop and...
Susan: No!
Policeman: Im so sorry.
Susan: (crying) No..we had plans. He thaught I hated him. What about our kids?
Policeman: Im so sorry Susan.
Scene 8
Outside Pat is talking to Maria when susan comes up.
Pat: Susan love whats the news?
Susan breaks down on Pats shoulder.
Pat: Its alright love your strong enough to get through this.
Susan: I dont want to get through this. I want my huspand back.
Pat: I know you do but you have kids to think about. Go and console them.
Scene 9
Sam and Lyndsay are in the living room when their is a knock at the door. Lyndsay opens it to see Susan crying.
Lyndsay: Mum what is it?
Susan: (crying) Its Dad....hes died!

Sam gets up to the altar.
Sam: I didnt know what to say about my dad so I didnt write a speech. So dad,this is from the heart...I know we argued alot but you were always right. Exept Everton are better than Tranmere. To cut to the point I love you dad and you have the deepest place in my heart forever!

The graveside.
Priest: Lord,now is the time for us to say goodbye to Damien and for you to say hello. So I say ashes to ashes,earth to earth,dust to dust.

The bookies. Paul turns up.

Paul: Im here aint I? You didnt give me a set time. Anyway Ive just had a run in with your idiot of a brother outside.
Tommy: First of all my brother would make mince meat out of you and second of all you turn up when I tell you to turn up so your not early, your late! If I say you turn up at 1 o'clock in the mornig you turn up.
Paul: Well, Im here now so what am I doing today?
Tommy: Well If I were you Id go to the job centre because your sacked! Oh, and try to blackmail me and your going down!

Diannes flat. Dianne is reading the paper when Paul comes home.

Paul: Ive not forgot anything...Ive been sacked!!!

Tommys bookies. Barry and Paul are arguing.
Barry: Why in gods name did my brother take you back?
Paul: Maybe after all these years hes found out what a worthless piece of junk you are.
Barry: Piece of junk I am? You better watch your mouth Paul or else youll be waking up in intensive care.
Paul: You put someone in intensive care dont make me laugh. You couldnt put a chimp in intensive care!

The Jones. Susan arrives back.

In the backs. Tommy and Paul are talking.

Tommy: I think theres been enough killings around here dont you? Now you listen to me Paul if you dont let me become your best man for your wedding I will personally take you to the police station and be the good samaritan I am and give you in to the police for murder! Got it?

Naomi: Dont worry Lyndsay Ive already packed. Thats the only thing that is keeping me going at the minute.

Audrey: Ben I thaught the psychologist went through all this with you.
Ben: And thats another thing you booked me an appointment with a psychologist without consulting me! Im not mental!
Audrey: I know your not Ben but it was to help you.
Ben: But mum it aint worked.

The market.
Lyndsay: (spotting Peter) Peter!
Peter: What?
Lyndsay: Can I have a word?
Peter: Make it quick.
Lyndsay: Well I was wondering...well alot of us are going for a holiday on Sunday and we have another ticket. Do you want to come?
Peter: Why would I want to come on holiday with you?
Lyndsay: Look Peter I know you are upset about me and Scott but can we be sensible about this and let byegones be byegones?
Peter:...Go on then. And i better go and get my suntan lotion.
(Peter and Lyndsay hug.)
Scene 5
The court. Naomi arrives. Pat is sat outside the courtroom.
Naomi: Nan.
Pat: So you realise you have a brother then
Naomi: Sorry nan I was caught up. Whats happened so far.
Pat: Oh its been dreadful. The dury have already come up with a verdict! They only saw one piece of evidence.
(Pat and Naomi enter the courtroom and the judge is sitting down)
Judge: Have the jury come to a decision?
Jury member: The dury have come to a decision sir and that decision is that Nathan Lawrance is...guilty!
Judge: I sentence you to 2 years inprisonment for the simple fact that you have never previously offended. Police...take him away!

Veronicas flat. Veronica is sat in her chair when the phone rings.
Veronica: Hello yes this is Veronica...results of my tests are back? Its urgent...ok Ill get there as soon as I can.
Scene 2
The Jones. Sam and Lyndsay are sat in the living room.
Sam: Has mum got another date?
Lyndsay: Yes...I wonder who it is
Sam: Im not bothered.
Lyndsay: Why? You should want her to be happy.
Sam: Because she should still be mourning the death of our dad.
Lyndsay: Sam dont say that. You should want her to be happy. And deep down you know she is mourning for him. Its christmas we all have to rally together for mums sake.
Scene 3
Veronicas flat. Dianne enters seeing Veronica looking worried.
Dianne: Nan are you alright you look worried about something?
Veronica: Im confused.
Dianne: Why?
Veronica: The hospital say they want to see me immedietly, something important.
Dianne: Right lets go.
Scene 4
Susan arrives home.
Lyndsay: Good time mum?
Susan: Yes.
Sam: Can we know who it is then?
Susan: No not yet.

The hospital. Veronica enters the room.
Veronica: Hello again,why do you have to see me so urgent?
Doctor: We have some bad news Veronica.

Susan: So then Sam?
Sam: I just want to know that the person who you are seeing is not uncle Liam.
Susan: Sam it aint no. I prefer my son!

Doctor: Veronica Im really sorry but you only have at maximum 3 months to live.

The crowded airport. Lots of people are going past.

The taxi pulls up outside Liverpool John Lennon airport
Naomi: Scott,Peter go and get the trollies.
Scott: Ok. We have to do what the queen says dont we Peter.
Naomi: Aye. Do you want a slap?
Scene 4
The trollies
Scott: Cant wait to taste the lovely San Miguel.
Peter: Same here. First mission Scott have a christmas dinner.
Scott: Cant beat a bit of turkey thats number one on the list when we get there.

The check in line. Peter,Scott and Lyndsay have checked in.
check in: Passports.
Naomi: (searching for her passport) Dianne.

Naomi: I cant find my passport.

Scott: (looking around) Not bad. Not as warm as good old Liverpool!
Lyndsay: Shut up sarcastic...now wheres our coach.
Scene 3
Outside the Americas hotel.
Dianne: Well...Looks like weve landed on our feet here.
Naomi: Oh yes they do good manacures over here.
Peter: They have good pubs over here meant to be a good pint!
Scott: Oh yes. Check that out later.
Scene 4
The lads leave their room and head down to reception where they meet the girls.
Scott: So...what do you want to do?
Naomi: Anything...
Peter: I say me and Scott go and you lot go together.
Lyndsay: Good idea! Then we will meet up here tonight.
Scene 5
Callagans bar. Scott gets the drinks in.
Peter: Cheers Scott.
Scott: Welcome mate.
Peter: Tell you what...I want my dinner.
Scott: Right two christmas dinners for us.
Peter: Great! But first Scott...can we talk?
Scott: Ermmm....yeh.
Scene 6
On the beach.
Naomi: Who would of thaught we would of been on the beach at christmas day.
Lyndsay: True.
Dianne: Ive got to ring Paul.
Lyndsay: Dianne were on our holidays! Ring him later.

The pub.
Scott: Go on then
Peter: I loved her you know.
Scott: Peter it was my first days around here I didnt know you.
Peter: We were dating and you slept with her.
Scott: I know that now but I didnt back then.
Peter: Scott Im happy for you but Im warning you if you hurt her I mean this I will kill you.
Scott: Dont I know that. You know it takes a man to what you just did and I respect you loads for that mate.

Peter: What you up to today?
Scott: Im staying in...that hangovers kicking in now.
Naomi: Well Im lad hunting! Ive not come here to stay in...you coming girls?
Lyndsay: Course we are.
Scott: Coming Peter? (Scott and Peter head off)
Scene 3
Scott and Peters room.
Scott: Look Pete,your on your own today mate.
Peter: Ok. Ill do a bit of sight seeing. Ill come back later because I think you will be ok tonight?
Scott: Too right.
Scene 4
The sea front. The girls are walking down the front. They spot a lad looking at Naomi.
Dianne: Hes got eyes for you Naomi.
Lyndsay: Id have eyes for him aswell hes meaty!
Naomi: Hes only looking.

Scotts room. Scott is lay on his bed.
Scene 6
Outside the hotel. Peter has arrived back. Suddenly,there is a loud bang.

In a pub. Naomi spots the same lad.
Dianne: Hes coming over.
lad: Hello,what you called?
Naomi: Me? Im called Naomi.
Lyndsay: Dianne I think my eye liner is running we need to go to the toilets.
Naomi: What are you called?
Lad: David...I spotted you before and I thought it then and I think it more now you are really stunning!
Naomi: Cheers. So are you. Where you from?
David: Im a traveller but originally Im from Liverpool!
Naomi: No way thats were Im from.
David: I wouldnt mind getting with you in Liverpool.
Naomi: Come with me we leave tomorrow night.
David: Are you serious? Are you asking me to move with you?
Naomi: Yeh. Well I hardly know you but of course your nice.
(David and Naomi start kissing)
Scene 8
The hotel. Everyone is outside after the explosion. Peter cant find Scott.
Receptionist: I dont think Scott Lawford has come out Im sorry.
Peter: You what? Right...Im going in.
(Peter runs into blazing hotel)
Scene 9
The girls and David are heading down the front when they come to their hotel.
Lyndsay: OH MY GOD. PETER. SCOTT
David: What is it?
Dianne: Look they might not be in there.
David: You have friends in there.
Lyndsay: Yes and my boyfriend.
David: Look your coming back to my flat if they dont ring you in the morning we will come back.
Scene 10
Scott and Peters room. Peter enters coughing.
Scott: Whats wrong?
Peter: Scott no questions. Theres been an explosion the hotels on fire. We need to get all our bags and then get the girls bags. We will ring them tomorrow morning. Now come on lets go.
Scene 11
Outside the hotel. Everybody is standing around Peter and Scott come out with their cases. The lads get to a safe distance.
Scott: Peter?
Peter: Yeh?
Scott: I cant thank you enough for saving my life.

Scene 1
Early morning. Lay on the beach asleep with everyones cases are Peter and Scott.
Scene 2
Davids apartment. The girls and David are sat around the table.
David: Look girls theyll be alright.
Lyndsay: How do you know that?
David: I have a feeling.
Dianne: All our cases are in there our passports and everything.
Lyndsay: Dianne the cases are the last thing on my mind all Im worried about is the safety of my boyfriend and my mate...Peter.
David: Look lets enjoy your last day here alright. Im certain they will ring.
Scene 3
The beach. Scott is awake. He shakes Peter.
Scott: Peter mate...time to get up.
(Peter slowly wakes up.)
Peter: (yawning) Never slept on the beach before.
Scott: Look lets get some grub down us then we will ring the girls.
Scene 4
The apartment.
Dianne: What shall we do today?
Naomi: Im staying here with David...hes just got his flight ticket!
Lyndsay: Naomi I think your missing something.
Naomi: What?
Lyndsay: WEVE NOT GOT OUR CASES OR OUR PASSPORTS ALRIGHT. SO HOW THE HELL ARE WE MEANT TO GET HOME?
Naomi: The lads will take care of it.
Dianne: What do you want to do today Lyndsay?
Lyndsay: Im not up for anything. I want to know the lads are ok.
Dianne: Lyndsay they will be fine. Look,lets enjoy our holiday whilst it lasts.

The phone box.
Scott: Ill talk.
(Scott dials the number)
Lyndsay: Hello.
Scott: Lyndsay its me.
Lyndsay: Oh thank god Scott...are you and Peter ok?
Scott: Yes were fine. We slept on the beach. I was lay on my bed and Peter ran in and saved me. He got everything of yours.
Lyndsay: Im really glad.
Scott: Look we will meet you at the airport!
Scene 6
In a club. Dianne and Lyndsay are talking.
Dianne: Im glad their ok.
Lyndsay: How brave is Peter? Risking his own life to save scott.
Dianne: I know. See Lyndsay It all worked out in the end didnt it Lyndsay?
Lyndsay: Yeh. Wait till....
(Diannes looking around)
Dianne: Lyndsay.
Lyndsay: Yes.
Dianne: Why over there is a man kissing another bloke and women kissing other girls?
(a girl approaches Dianne)
girl: Hi...are you single?
(Dianne looks at Lyndsay)

The airport. The boys are waiting.
Peter: Ive still got sand in my hair.
Scott: Well...it has been a strange holiday.
Peter: Certainly...do you know what I think is the best thing to come out of this holiday?

Peter: Our friendship.
(The girls and David approach Scott and Peter)
Dianne: Oh no. Not you two.
Peter: Oh yes. Us two.
Naomi: I would like you both to meet my boyfriend who is coming back to Liverpool with us...David

Paul: So you have a good time?
Dianne: Apart from our hotel burning down, it was alright!
Paul: Your hotel burnt down? Was anyone hurt?
Dianne: Scott nearly but Peter rushed in and saved him.
Paul: Have you got that scan today?
Dianne: Yes I have Ive got to go in a minute. Will you see Lyndsay about being my Maid of Honour.
Paul: Yes of course.
Scene 4
Audreys flat. Ben has packed his bags and he leaves the flat.
Scene 5
The market. Paul runs up to Lyndsay.
Lyndsay: Paul. What is it?
Paul: Its Dianne.
Lyndsay: Whats wrong? Is she hurt?
Paul: No,No shes fine shes gone for her scan. She wanted me to ask you would you be her maid of honour.
Lyndsay: Me maid of honour? Tell her of course I will.
Scene 6
The hospital. Dianne is having her scan.
Nurse: Done anything good for Christmas?
Dianne: Yes Ive just got back from the holiday from hell.
Nurse: Holiday from hell?
Dianne: Yes...Its not every holiday that your hotel burns down and your mates nearly die is it?
Nurse: So youve had an eventful christmas then?
Dianne: Just a bit.
Nurse: Well Dianne everythings ok here?
Dianne: Oh good...do you know how long it is until I give birth?
Nurse: Erm Id say about 3 weeks to a month.
Dianne: Your kidding?
Nurse: No.
Dianne: Wow...about a month until I can hold my first child!

man: Well I think its platform 10.

(Ben jogs off to platform 10 where the train is just pulling in. When the train stopped Ben jumped on.)

The Jones. Susan is smiling whilst doing to housework.
Lyndsay: Is he treating you well mum?
Susan: Yes Lyndsay hes treating my great. Ive not been treated as well as this since I was with your dad in the good days because lets face it in the last few months all we done is row.
Lyndsay: When will we get to meet him?
Susan: Sweetheart I promise you when the time is right you will know who it is.
Scene 3
Audreys flat. Audrey arrives home.
Audrey: Ben Im back...Ben...you in?
(Audrey enters Bens room)
Audrey: Must of...
(Audrey sees the wardrobe open and looks stunned.)

Manchester Picadilly. Ben gets off the train and heads out of the train station onto the streets of Manchester. He approaches a man.
Ben: Excuse me do you have any directions to McDonalds?
man: Yes...just carry on up this road take your second right and you can't miss it.

Audreys flat. Audrey is on the phone to the police.
Audrey: Hello I would like to report a missing person...Its my son, Ben Nicholls...Well I arrived home and he wernt answering me so I went in his room and thought he must of gone out. That was until I turned and faced the wardrobe which was empty...I cant think of any reason while he would of done this no. Ok then wait in and youll send somebody.
(Audrey puts the phone down.)
Audrey: (Tears coming from her eyes) P...P...please come home Ben!

Audrey: How do you know how I am feeling eh? Has your son or daughter ran off? No they havent so you dont have the slightest Idea of what Im thinking.
Policeman: Audrey I know. Look all we need is a description of your son and we will give this description to every police force in the country. We will send out search partys to find your son. We will go through media but please just dont worry. After all...he wouldnt want you worrying now would he?

Ben is sat on a park bench shivering.

Diannes flat. Paul is talking to Dianne.
Dianne: I cant wait until we get married Paul not long now.
Paul:......What?
Dianne: Have you even bothered listening to a word I have said all day?

Dianne: So what have we been talking about?

Dianne: Paul weve not mentioned my nan once today. Paul something is on your mind. Actually,something has been on your mind for a long time and I will find it out what it is...today.

Audreys flat.
Policeman: Look before we can do anything to help you get you son back we need a statement. Just tell us the last place you seen your son and the last thing he told you. That will help us with a much clearer picture of what were dealing with here.
Audrey: Well the last time I saw him was before I went shopping. He has had a few problems recenty so he hasnt been talking to me for a while.
Policeman: What type of problems?
Audrey: You tell me?...Teenagers!!
Scene 5
Ben is asleep on the park bench. Many people are walking past looking at him.
Scene 6
Diannes flat.
Dianne: Go on then....
Paul: Alright then dont blame me if you go mad. Do you know everything thats been going on between me and Tommy?
Dianne: Yes him sacking you then taking you back.
Paul: Well...I maybe working for him but he aint paying me for work.
Dianne: You what? Thats blackmail.
Paul: I know.
Dianne: And you take it? Have some guts Paul stand up to the bully.
Paul: I dont have any choice.
Dianne: Why? Why's he blackmailing you Paul?
Paul:...Remember Damien Jones death? Well Tommy forced me to take part in that. Tommy killed him and me and Barry witnessed it. Barry struck up the fire. He payed me £1,000 and I couldnt refuse that could I? The reason why Im letting him blackmail me is because he said if I dont work for him he would tell Susan that I killed him!
Dianne: (shocked) Paul please tell me it aint true.
Paul: I cant babe. You needed to know. And I needed to get it off my chest.

Diannes flat.
Paul: Look Dianne Im so sorry.
Dianne: Sorry wont bring Susans husband back will it?
Paul: I know it wont.
Dianne: Why are you saying sorry to me? It should be Susan,Lyndsay and Sam who youre saying sorry to. Try explaining to them that you helped out in killing their father. See what reaction youll get then.
Paul: I know Dianne cant you see how much I regret this....look is this the end for me and you?
(Dianne takes along pause)
Paul: Look Ill go and pack.....
Dianne: No Paul dont pack....Look dont think Im all that happy but who doesnt make mistakes? I forgive you babe.
Paul: I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Hound. Stephan and Maria are putting up the new years decorations.
Maria: Its going to be a great night and a great way to send off the year in style.
Stephan: To right! A hangover and a half we will have tomorrow.
Maria: What a year its been for us settling down in our pub.
Stephan: A new year brings new challenges and whatever they are we can face them together.
Scene 2
Diannes flat.
Paul: What are you doing today?
Dianne: Got to check my checklist for the wedding...Catering,sorted...I think
Paul: Your doing this new years eve? Whoose catering?
Dianne: Yeh your right. Ill get Maria and Stephan to do it.
Paul: Well...Im getting ready for tonight.
Scene 3
Tommys bookies. Tommy and Barry are talking.
Barry I cant believe it a full year gone already.
Tommy: Yes...and Ive only killed one person.
Barry: True. Whats in store for you next year?
Tommy: I dont know. But if anyone crosses Tommy Gallagher next year believe me they will regret it. Ill show all them people who cross me the real Tommy Gallagher and they will regret it!!!!
Scene 4
The pub. Everyone is in cheerful mood.
Maria: About two hours until new year.
Pat: Yes.
Maria: Were going to send Liverpool Street into the new year with a bang. We have about £500 worth of fireworks.
(Dianne approaches Maria)
Dianne: Maria can I have a word?
Maria: Yes Dianne of course. Lets go outside.
Scene 5
Outside the pub.
Maria: What do you want to talk to me about?
Dianne: Do you know my wedding?
Maria: Yes.
Dianne: Well me and Paul would really be greatful if you could put on a buffet.
Maria: Of course we will Dianne it would be a pleasure.
Dianne: Whats the cost?
Maria: Why its you...free of charge!
Scene 6
In the hound. Everyone are enjoying themselves when Maria gets up on the microphone.
Maria: Hello everybody well first of all Id like to wish you all a happy new year and before we go out for the fireworks I think we should do something original and join hands and sing old lang syne. (Everyone joins hands) Should old...
Everyone:...acquaintance be forgot,and never brought to mind,should old acquaintance be forgot,and days of old lang syne (camera looks around at Tommy,Susan,Dianne,Paul,Stephan,Pat and Maria) For old lang syne,my dear, for old lang syne, we'll take a cup of kindness here, for old lang syne.
(Everyone starts shaking hands wishing each other happy new year)
Maria: Now everyone outside for the fireworks.
Scene 7
Outside the hound. Everyone is chatting waiting for the new year countdown.
Tommy: Ill count us down Maria.
Maria: Go ahead.
Tommy: Ok everyone time for the countdown so here we go....10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
