Steve is excited as he gets ready to spend the day with daughter, Amy. He asks Liz if she fancies going to the safari park with them and she is thrilled. Steve then goes to the Barlows’ and Deirdremakes chit-chat with him while Tracy is kicking her heels. She is reluctant to let Amy go with her father but eventually Steve leaves with his daughter. Later on, in the Rovers, Tracy spits venom about Steve while Nathan patiently listens, secretly eyeing up some of the local talent.

Shelley is surprised to find her mum in the Rovers. Although the atmosphere is awkward between them both, Bev invites Shelley and Charlie round to her flat, so that she can help plan their wedding. But really Bev has another plan up her sleeve. She visits his builders’ yard and offers cheating Charlie a huge sum of money if he leaves Shelley. Will he take the bribe?

And elsewhere on Coronation Street, Diggory tells Molly that she should be in the bakers not working in the kennels. Kirk arrives back from the donkey sanctuary and finds Molly mucking out. She asks him if any of the dogs belong to him, and before he has a chance to explain who he is, she shoos him out of his own home!

Kirk cannot understand why Fiz isn’t pleased to have Molly working at the kennels, since she doesn’t actually like the dogs herself. She sets off for work leaving an unsuspecting Kirk with Molly. But later on, in Underworld, Fiz tells Hayley that she knows Molly hates her, and will try and break her and Kirk up because Fiz and Molly hated each other at school. And back at the kennels, Molly begins to put her plan into action when she strips off her top to get rid of a flea that has ‘found its way into her shirt!’ Will Kirk succumb to Molly’s charms?

Over at the Rovers, Shelley is trying to decide who would be the best person to give her away at the wedding. Cunning Charlie makes sure that Bev won’t ever get the job by revealing she has tried to bribe him to leave Shelley. Shelley is shocked but is even more surprised when Charlie decides to invite Bev to the happy day after all. Why does Charlie relent?

And there is a fun day at the Red Rec but David has no intention of going to watch his dad make a complete fool of himself as the Weatherfield County mascot. Later on, in the Rovers, Martin is the butt of everyone’s jokes when he arrives still dressed in his chicken outfit!

Fiz marches into the kennels and is convinced that Kirk and Molly are up to something when she hears them laughing. But it turns out that they are only bathing a dog. During a chat with Kirk, Molly breaks down in tears and she explains how she was left traumatised by Fiz’s bullying at school. Kirk is moved by this and after dinner at the Battersbys’, Fiz tries to get passionate with her man. She is upset when he rebuffs her and tells her that what she did to Molly was evil, and doesn’t know if he can carry on being with someone like her. Is this the beginning of the end for Kirk and Fiz?

Over in the Weatherfield Arms, Bev puts the kibosh on Liz’s plans by insisting she has to work tonight. But Barry doesn’t seem to mind waiting for her and he sits at the bar piling on the compliments to a flirtatious Liz. Will Liz and Barry get together at the end of her shift?

And in the Baldwins’, Danny has had time to think and doesn’t like himself for cheating on Frankie with Leanne. Leanne is also finding the deceit hard and agrees they should call it a day.

And elsewhere, Craig is gobsmacked when Keith comes home with a pig and says he plans to keep it in the garden.

In the Battersbys’, Fiz is still worried about Molly getting her claws into Kirk, but doesn’t know how to broach the subject and simply pleads with him to remember that she loves him. Fiz bumps into Molly as she emerges from the bakers, and begs her to leave her ‘little Kirky’ alone. Molly has a glint in her eye when Fiz admits it would be her worst nightmare if Kirk was to dump her to go out with Molly. What will meddling Molly do next?

Over in the mini cab office, the staff are discussing Lloyd’s new call signs. Overall they all enjoy them and have a joke about them but Eileen refuses point blank to call Les ‘Lone Wolfe’ and thinks he is more suited to ‘Ginger Whinger!’

And in the Kabin, Rita promises Norris that he will always have a place there to work but refuses to sell him a share in the business. That’s not good enough for Norris and he prepares himself for a job interview with a stationary company. But Norris is in for a humiliating shock when he gets interrogated by a face from his past.

Also Gail heartily disapproves, but Keith manages to persuade everyone else to give Porky the pig a trial before sending him away!

Bev and Liz spy each other in the street and Liz tells Bev that Barry stayed the night but he had to get up really early in the morning. Bev sneers that it is because he is married, but Liz dismisses her. The conversation changes between the two friends, though, as Bev tells Liz about her suspicions about being followed. Bev’s fears are confirmed when she pops back to her flat from work, and finds a load of clothes in bin bags and graffiti daubed all over the door. She is convinced that it is Charlie behind this and Fred offers to let Bev stay the night as she is so shaken up. But before she gets the chance to get to Fred’s, there is a knock at the front door. Who is it that has been stalking scared Bev?

Over at Streetcars, Eileen is beginning to think that the new call signs are a waste of time as all the drivers keep changing them. She gets increasingly vexed by Les who insists she say particularly silly things over the airwaves. Steve and Eileen then hatch a plot to make Lloyd see sense by pretending that she has quit her job over the nick names. Will Lloyd believe them?

And in the Kabin, Norris is horrified when his ex-wife pays him a visit. She tries to make light of Neville’s cruel trick and suggests that fate has thrown them together again!
