Thursday 8th September 2005 - Episode 3924

Sally is lying in the floor after her fall, but in her dazed state she can make out a dark figure walking around the house. Then everything goes black.

Flynn is shocked to get home and find Sally lying unconscious on the floor. Zoe walks in a few seconds later and goes to tend to Pippa whilst Flynn looks after Sally.

He gets an ambulance ASAP and Sally is rushed into hospital for tests. Thankfully the scans reveal she’s avoided serious injury. Ric comforts him. Flynn sends everybody else off home, but Ric refuses to go, he’s staying with Sally as long as it takes. Flynn’s impressed. It’s a special bonding moment between the two, and an indication of Ric’s growing love for Sally.

Jesse’s been thinking long and hard about Josie’s offer to get back together. He calls her up and she comes over, expecting the best, but finds out the worst. Jesse wants her out of the business. She begs him to reconsider, but his mind is made up. Josie is distraught – she still loves him so much.

It’s Cassie’s first day at school and Hyde asks Matilda to show her around. Matilda is less than warm towards her, and Cassie picks up on it. She can’t figure out why, but is determined to win Matilda over. Henry is also puzzled about Matilda’s attitude until he sees her glaring at Cassie and Ric as they flirt together and realises she’s jealous of Cassie. Matilda denies it and storms off in a huff, but it’s clear he’s right.

Sally is out like a light all night. Flynn stays by her side, and is totally relieved when she wakes up in the morning. They’re stunned to find out that Sally thinks someone pushed her on purpose. Flynn relays this to Peter who comes in to question her. Her answers are vague and Peter wonders how reliable they are, seeing as they come from some suffering concussion. But Sally is absolutely sure that the stalker must have been targeting Zoe, because she was supposed to be there, until Sally arrived back from the fete early. But Peter finds that nothing at the house supports Sally’s theory. He’s still certain it’s Marc. But Sally’s not convinced.

Later that afternoon, Josie tries once more with Jesse. And this time his guard is down. He gives in to the way he really feels about her and they end up kissing passionately. Then suddenly Jesse pulls away and orders her to leave. Josie exits – confused. Jesse is left behind – one mixed up man. Later that day, Josie finds Jesse packing his gear in his car. He says he needs time to get his head together, gets in the car and drives off. Josie is left kicking herself. Has Jesse left her for good?

Friday 9th September 2005 - Episode 3925
Lisa is back in town and Scott is ready to make the move to the city, despite Beth’s belief that he’s making a huge mistake. She thinks he’s denying his love for Hayley because of pride. He should just drop the act and admit it. All she gets for her efforts is an angry outburst from Scott. Hayley too can’t believe Scott’s planning to leave. But he’s totally ignoring her, which leaves her even more hurt and distressed. But when Beth questions her about it, her attitude is ruthless. Scott’s made his decision and he’ll have to live with it. What can she do now? Deep down though, she’s hurting…

Josie can’t get in touch with Jesse. She’s worried that she might have driven him away for good. Hayley assures her he’ll be back. He’s got too many responsibilities in the Bay. She turns the conversation to how Sally thinks someone might have pushed her from the ladder, and Josie is immediately concerned - her suspicions about the stalker aroused…

Scott accidentally calls Lisa ‘Hayley’ as they do the last of the packing. It throws him a bit because he obviously wants to be with Hayley, but is still refusing to acknowledge it. As the day wears on, Lisa starts to feel guiltier about what’s happening. But she doesn’t say anything. When they finally leave, Beth breaks down in tears, angry and upset her eldest son has actually left.

Josie visits a nervous and jittery Sally who feels like a prisoner in her own home. Sally reiterates that she doesn’t think Marc is the stalker. Josie is beginning to have the same doubts, but she wonders if Sally’s concussion caused her to imagine things.

Lisa’s guilt finally gets the better of her as she and Scott drive past the outskirts of Summer Bay. She stops the car and tells him everything about her husband and kids. Scott is absolutely stunned, but Lisa still wants him to come. She didn’t mean for it to happen, but she’s fallen in love with him. She assures him that if things work out, she’ll leave the marriage permanently. Scott is kicking himself. Beth and Hayley were right! He’s made a mess of the situation, but will he be man enough to swallow his pride? He takes a long walk along the beach to get a grasp on the situation. And then finally he makes his decision, gets in Lisa’s car and hugs her. A few minutes later she drives out of Summer Bay…

…without Scott. He’s headed over to the Surf Club, where Hayley is packing up the place for the night. She’s shocked to see him standing there. She thought he’d gone. Scott says simply that he’s not going anywhere. After a long hesitation, they rush into each other’s arms and kiss. Hayley and Scott are together at last…
