Fred is becoming increasingly exasperated with Shelley’s absence behind the bar. Worried her daughter may be about to get the sack, Bev steps in and goes to see Fred herself.
She turns on the charm as she tries to persuade him to stand by Shelley but as she presses her case it only serves to remind Fred of all the qualities he respected in Bev – leading to a shock proposal for his former manager.
Kennel life is taking its toll on Fiz so when Kirk gets a call from his parents saying they need him in Cyprus Fiz starts to panic about coping alone. But help comes from unlikely quarters when arch enemy Maria steps in – will Fiz accept the olive branch?
Back on the street, Tracy’s home after her arrest but rather than her usual defiant mood the Barlows are surprised when she admits how much Steve has hurt her. Puzzled by her reaction Steve is left to plot his next move.
Elsewhere, Liz dresses to impress for her dinner date with Bob and his friends. She’s borrowed a suit and has been swotting up on current affairs but is this what Bob really wants from his girl?
And when Gail needs help in the garden Keith is quick to lend a hand, leading to claims he has the hots for Gail. But is she the woman he’s really after?

Danny plans a night of passion with Leanne, sending Jamie to Holland on a job and telling wife Frankie he has to go to Glasgow.
But Frankie’s suspicions about Leanne have been re-ignited and she’s on her trail. She follows her to the hotel where Danny waits inside. Is Frankie about to discover the awful truth about her husband’s affair?
Back at the factory Adam’s the brunt of all the jokes as the girls tease him about his night out with Kelly. Will it be enough to put him off a second date?
Norris worries about being conned again when he discovers Emily’s great niece Freda is coming to stay – a relative Emily has no memory of ever meeting before.
Elsewhere, Vera’s fed up of being taken for granted by Jack and tells him things are going to change, Fred has some news for Bev and Maria riles Fiz when she refuses to get her hands dirty at the kennels.

Frankie’s determined to discover who Leanne has gone to meet at the hotel and puts the next phase of her plan into action. As the hotel alarm sounds Danny knows she’s onto them and tells Leanne she has to leave. But as Leanne makes her way through the foyer she’s confronted by a smug Frankie. Has Leanne’s cover been blown?
At the Platt’s everyone is winding up Gail about her dinner date with Keith. So when he moves on to discussing his desire to meet the right woman Gail jumps straight in and tells him she’s not interested. But Gail’s mortified when Keith reveals it isn’t her he’s interested in.
Freda arrives to visit Emily and Norris’ suspicions are confounded when she point blank ignores him. Freda is profoundly deaf but she and Emily get on like a house on fire and she soon invites her to stay longer much to Norris’ consternation.
Elsewhere Maria and Fiz battle for control at the kennels, Kelly wraps Adam around her little finger and Jack fights back as he winds up Vera about her marriage theories.

Leanne and Danny are back on the street following their eventful night at the hotel. Danny’s quick to tell Frankie how much he missed her but will she fall for his lies?
Elsewhere, Leanne’s feeling guilty after her night of passion as she continues to embroider her story about her whereabouts. But as Jamie lets her know just how much he loves her will Leanne breakdown and confess?
At the factory Adam’s budding relationship with Kelly causes ructions as she continues to give him the runaround. Danny’s infuriated by his lapse attitude to the staff but when Adam hears Kelly saying she wishes he would stand up to her and be more of a man he lets rip. Is it all over for the couple before it’s begun?
Elsewhere, Vera’s less than impressed when Jack says he doesn’t want to do anything to celebrate their upcoming 48th wedding anniversary.
Nathan flirts with Maria, Dev and Sunita find their dream home and Lloyd uses Dev’s predicament to broker a deal for Streetcars.

As Sunita prepares for her first scan she and Dev can’t hide their excitement about buying their new home. But there’s a double shock in store as they arrive at the hospital.
First the couple receive a call to say they’ve been gazumped on the house, then the sonographer has more news...
Jamie stuns Leanne with a surprise after hours meal at the café, with Roy acting as waiter. Leanne’s moved knowing no man has ever treated her this way before and, as the guilt becomes too much, she starts to cry. Is Leanne about to confess to her affair?
As Maria responds to Nathan’s attentions their flirting steps up a gear. It looks like Maria’s up to her old tricks but as Nathan closes in for a kiss Tyrone (Alan Halsall) arrives back at the garage. Is he about to catch his fiance in a compromising position?
Elsewhere, when Emily takes a fall Freda offers to stay a while longer to look after her.
Liz is given a hard time when she meets Bob’s mum who is clearly less than impressed with his choice of lady friend and Jack and Vera’s arguing takes a turn for the worse.
