Ciaran is leaving in autumn, because he's had to turn down lots of roles elsewhere so He now wants freedom to expand his acting range elsewhere.

Coronation Street star Danny Young (Warren Baldwin) was axed from the soap after letting fame go to his head, according to a report in The People today.

A source told the newspaper, "He put noses out of joint from day one. He's so full of self-confidence that some of the more established stars didn't take to him, which hasn't helped. Danny has been very quick to promote himself at every opportunity. "He even took to wearing a baseball cap to the gym - as if he was David Beckham and had to hide his identity. Sometimes people just don't fit in and the producers decided Danny was one of those people. "It is a cliche but no-one is bigger than the Street and Danny had to find that out the hard way."

Warren will leave the Street in July after being transferred from Weatherfield County. A spokeswoman insisted, "The role didn't work out."

Adam is the Scottish lad who's Mike's son and ken's grandson.

Penny is the ginger women who was torn between Mike and Fred and who went into business with Ciaron which spectacularly flopped.

And Patrick is the overweight, gobby taxi driver who's always talking about his sons.

i read in the tv times i think it was, that the guy who plays adam (very fit) is going to return to a more full time role later in the year. maybe they have him leave school in the summer???? what do u guys reckon? * charlie *
