Week One:

Aug 03 : Darlene and Ali celebrate

Darlene and Ali head for the park to celebrate the end of the school term and a Macki free summer holiday. But true to form, Macki reappears to taunt Ali and Darlene with racist jibes.

Jake is struggling to get his entry ready for this years Tatton Flower Show when Craig shows up looking like a drowned rat.

Steph has planned out Zara's date with Lee down to the last smelly candle, now all she needs is the couple themselves.

It's only after Liz catches up with Sophie and tells her to repaint the living room that Sophie agrees to be Lee's new business partner.

Ben gets a surprise visitor

Darlene seeks out Craig and confesses her worries about the Macki situation.

Jake is thrown into the depths of despair; will his life ever run smoothly again?

Ben opens the door to a surprise visitor.

Rory drops in to ll Gnosh and enquires after Tony.

And Bombhead is disappointed that Lee can't help him search for his Dad.

Mandy wants Tony to apologise

Frankie and Craig have worked through the night to get Jake's garden up and running.

It's an anxious wait as the judges deliberate over the best garden. But Jake's happy - with Becca and his mum being friends again - as far as he's concerned, the days already been a success.

Mandy breaks her silence with Tony to have a go at him, she wants him to apologise to Rory.

Ben is apprehensive about his first day back at work.

Lee and Les struggle to come up with a name for their new father and son business.

Ali worries abut Justin

Ali is worried about Justin carrying a knife.

An upbeat Bombhead heads to Shrewsbury in search if his dad.

Max wants to impress Sophie but is having an image crisis.

Lisa and Ben fool around at the Hunters', assuming that everyone's out. But Ben can't bring himself to tell Lisa he's agreed to be Jake's best man; how long can he keep this guilty secret?

Becca gets annoyed by Frankie
Airing Wednesday, 10th August 2005 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Bombhead is downhearted after failing to find his dad.

Les gets hot under the collar when Carol strips off and he's caught red-handed by Lee and Sally.

Becca is increasingly unhappy with Frankie's involvement in her wedding plans.

Ali is worried now the police have dropped the charges against Macki, and the kids have some explaining to do when Richard finds the knife.

Justin wants his knife back
Airing Thursday, 11th August 2005 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Bombhead is struggling to cope with the disappointment of not finding his dad and reaches a decision about his future.

Callum asks Ben to come to the SU Bar with the lads, but Ben isn't keen.

Frankie is still reeling form Becca's outburst over the wedding reception.

Justin is desperate to get the knife back from Richard but hasn't a clue where's he's hidden it.

Ali is left beaten
Airing Friday, 12th August 2005 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Darlene makes her dad sweat over his affair and just how much she knows.

And Darlene and Justin set out to find Ali but, just as they arrive, Macki and his gang flee leaving Ali badly beaten.

Jack finds it hard to tell Frankie the proposal was a misunderstanding; if only she wasn't so excited.

Lee is still orange-faced after Les's experiment with fake tan, and there's hell to pay when Sally catches Les giving a customer a pedicure.

And Jez apologises for giving Cameron fleas from his tent.

Max wants to refurbish the shop
Airing Monday, 15th August 2005 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Lisa is angry with Ben for lying about being Jake's Best Man.

Frankie and Jack are like love's young dream. Jake is outraged when he realises the underhanded means Craig used to give his poor mother the wedding she wants.

Tony is obsessed with getting the travellers out of the village and is studying various eviction leaflets from the council.

Max is determined to get the shop refurbished whether Mandy likes it or not, and Richard tries to get to the bottom of Ali's bruises, but he's giving nothing away.

Darlene watches her father
Airing Tuesday, 16th August 2005 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Darren has still not come to terms with the fact that his dad and Frankie are getting married.

Mandy feels bad for having a go at Max about his plans to freshen up the Drive 'N' Buy.

Darlene monitors her dad's movements but keeps the knowledge of his affair to herself, and Nancy and Nicole are bored and at a loose end.

The Owens celebrate Sam's birthday
Airing Wednesday, 17th August 2005 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Ali decides it's time to fight back against Macki.

Jack wakes with a terrible hangover and is horrified to discover he's gambled the Dog away in a game of poker. Frankie refuses to speak to him but Jack redeems himself with an official proposal and a diamond ring.

The Owens go for lunch to celebrate Sam's birthday. The meal ends in disaster and Nicole is humiliated in front of Conor when Carrie sees them kissing and orders Nicole home.

Jez and Zara's hopes of going to the V Festival are soon dashed by Cameron, if he's not going no one is!

It's results day for the students
Airing Thursday, 18th August 2005 at 18:30 on Channel 4

It's A-level results day and Darlene is worried the time she took off for the operation has taken its toll.

Becca is wading through her 'to do' list in preparation for the double wedding.

The gang have a great night out with even Becca enjoying herself after one or two drinks.

Joe (Matt Milburn) and Dannii are playing paper, scissors, and stone in a desperate attempt to settle who gets Cameron's final ticket to the V Festival.

But Cameron interrupts them only to announce that he's not going and neither are they!

Ali is taken to hospital
Airing Friday, 19th August 2005 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Justin and Darlene look on as a barley conscious Ali is moved into the ambulance.

Becca has escaped her riotous hen night and is wandering across the village when she bumps into Sam. Sam calms Nicole down, but she's furious when Mrs Owen forbids her going to see Ali at A & E.

It's the late shift for Ben and Callum, with Ben still mad about Monday's hoax call.

Despite being a touch worse for wear, Frankie is miffed that her hen night has ended so soon.

Steph tries to comfort her mum but inadvertently announces that Jack's proposal was an accident.

Lisa Face was just a picture at the end... after ben was about to tell her about how he was going to be Jake Best man... than he started talking about ear things for Les so that he would not be able to them when they do it.. (even though he got banned from the Hunter house) :rotfl:

The Taylor-Burtons are reeling from Ali's death, but the police want to talk to Justin.

Darlene tells her father he should have died, rather than Ali.

Nancy refuses to get involved with the wedding; Jake (Kevin Sacre) is a two-timing creep.

Becca is not sure if she should be marrying Jake.

No one has remembered Zara's birthday, except Steph, who drags her off to the SU to celebrate.

OB has a proposal to cheer Zara up... Max looks into Drive 'n' Buy's makeover, but OB reckons he's only doing it as an excuse to talk to Sophie.

Becca still has doubts about the wedding, so Frankie and Jake try to reassure her that everything will be fine.

Ben and Lisa both have doubts about their careers.

Russ and Dannii congratulate Sam and Steph on their night of passion, but did it even happen?

And Jez and Zara are officially not talking to Joe since he blagged himself a ticket for V.

Zara is still angry with Steph for flouncing off with Sam.

Darren refuses to listen to anyone about the wedding; as far as he's concerned his dad is making a huge mistake.

Darlene and Justin comfort each other, but he is unable to answer her questions about the stabbing.

And Ben receives a photo of Arthur, forcing him to reconsider his position as an absent father.

The big day is finally here, but can Becca go through with the wedding after having an ominous dream about it?

Richard questions Justin about the knife.

And Lisa broods over Becca and Jake's wedding, distraught that she hasn't heard from Ben.

After the wedding it's back to The Dog for a good old knees-up. Craig has a little chuckle to himself as he watches the happy couples drive off to the same hotel.

Darlene tells Justin she knows he was involved, and if the police find the knife with his fingerprints on it, he'll be going down for murder.

Lisa wakes up after her afternoon of destruction, and is buoyed by a loving message from Ben; but when she tries to call him, his phone just rings out.

Liz thanks Darlene for not telling Mel and Sophie about her dad's affair.

O.B. is walking past the bus stop when he spies a caged parrot.

Tom is furious at poor Max.

Sam is about to get a severe beating from Damien and his mates when Andy's quick thinking saves him.

And Lisa is furious when she can't get in touch with Ben. Still in a rage she comes across a pair of scissors. What will she do?

Ben returns from Emma's to discover his clothes cut to shreds.

The Taylor/ Burton women struggle to put on a united front.

Just as they begin to pull together they get a call informing them that Ali's body will be released tomorrow.

Nicole gets all dressed up for her hot date with Conor, but her mum will only let her go out for an hour.

And Craig asks O.B. to help out at The Dog, but he'll only do it if he can bring his parrot.

O.B. is determined to make money:Airing Wednesday, 31st August 2005 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Ben goes round to the Hunters' intent on seeing Lisa.

O.B. is still determined to make money out of his parrot, Basil, but it looks like Steph is trying to get in on the act too. O.B. despairs, but he's not giving up on this cash parrot that easily.

Andy and Sam plan another day of fun and frivolity, but how are they going to do that when the SU Bar is dead?

Ben goes to the fire station; but will he stay or will he go?

Carrie wonders why kids have to grow up?

There's no turning back now, Nicole is going to lose her virginity. But is she doing the right thing?

Bombhead is feeling low about his dad, so Lee cheers him up by enlisting him as his Vice President.

Lee decides to throw the house party to end all house parties.

As Tom grows more attached to the parrot, Max Max warns O.B. he's got to get rid of him.

Mel and Darlene are not happy with Liz's sympathetic treatment of Richard, but she is just trying to keep things together.

With no work to do, Ben heads out with Lisa to meet her new mate Ally.

O.B.'s sad to see the parrot go, but he knows Craig will get a good home for him. As a result, O.B. is in no mood to give Lee a bargain deal on booze for his party.

Sam is worried his past will catch up with him and ruin his blossoming friendship with Andy.
