Sarah escapes from the mental institution so all the people that she is likely to attack get told by inspector baker that they must find a safe place to hide until they catch her. So leah offer for them all (Kirsty, Kane, Jesse, Noah, and Hayley) to go stay at hers as it is the last place that sarah will look.
Dani & Scott arrive back off their holiday and when they arrive back at the palace sarah is there waiting for them.
Sarah makes Scott gag and bind Dani, then forced Scott to drive her to Leahs house where all the others are. She made all the girls tie up the men, then she gave everyone an ultimatum-She gave everyone an ultimatum - tell me who killed Felix, or I start shooting! At that moment, Alf and Colleen arrived, bearing food for everyone. At this stage no-one outside knew anything about what was going on.
Rhys, returning from the city, found Dani tied up at the Palace. He freed her, and she explained what had happened - they both hurried to Leah's house.
There, Alf tried to claim responsibility for Felix's death, but Sarah dismissed him as a liar. Peter woke up briefly and whispered to Leah - the shocking news that Vinnie is not dead! But she was not in any position to react.
Sarah started the final countdown as Rhys and Dani arrived - they ran to the house just as they heard five gunshots...
One good thing has come out of this nightmare. Scott, changed after the siege, has asked Dani to marry him.

Max leaves to go to boarding school!
Leah told Dan about Peter's claim that Vinnie is still alive. Dan told her that Peter once worked for witness protection, working out false death scenarios to hide endangered witnesses. Maybe Vinnie was involved in something like that?
Josie (Angies twin) moves to the summer bay and becomes Jesses partner with the bar and donates $2000 say she wants to become a member of the community.
Jesse revealed the name of his bar to Hayley - 'Noah's'. Hayley was so moved she started crying.
Scott found a beautiful sketch of Noah in the Palace, and guessed that Hayley did it. But Hayley doesn't know anything about it! She thinks she must have done some 'sleep-drawing' during the night!

Leah dates Dan but after a few week when shes fallen head over heels with him he drops a bombshell and tells her that he's married with six kids but his wife is in LA and the long distance relationship doesn't work so he just hasn't got round to the divorce
Kane gets a lump that he thinks is cancerbut he doesn't tell kirsty cos of her exams and he has to have an operation so he just tells her he's going on a week long charter and Kane recuperates at flynns house. Kirsty gets some flowers but Kane says that he didn't send them.
