Former Hollyoaks actress, Roxanne Pallett has joined the cast of Yorkshire-based soap Emmerdale.
Roxanne - who also appeared in the drama A&E - will play new vetinary receptionist Jo Stiles.
Her character can't resist some good-natured meddling in the private lives of vets Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Max (Charlie Kemp) while, at the same time, setting her sights on Danny Daggert (Cleveland Campbell).
Talking of her new part, Roxanne said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Emmerdale. Jo is a bit of a minx and a great character for me to get my teeth into!”
Emmerdale series producer Kath Beedles commented: “We are delighted to welcome Roxanne to the cast. Jo Stiles is going to turn up the heat in the village and will certainly attract her fair share of male attention.”
Jo will arrive on our screens at the end of August.
