Went to thorpe park yesterday,it was ok but i was a bit peeved at the cheek of charging us £25 for my 6 year old son to get in (although we did get a refund) when he couldnt go on any of the kiddies rides for being too tall and couldnt go on the adult type rides for being small! He went on much worse rides in disneyworld! They also have the cheek to charge you £5 for a fast track ticket to get on the rides quicker (although you have to wait for the ticket for about 40 mins!) also its free in disneyworld the fast track ticket and you get let on the rides straight away, with these you still had to wait a good 10-15 mins to get on.So we got the money back on jords fast track ticket too.
My other complaint is when we went for a meal in there pizza hut, there were 4 adults of us and 4 kids yet they tried to stick us on the smaleest of tables with 2 highchairs in place as well! They also had the cheek to ask me to remove shannon from her pushchair to make more room (she was asleep and what did they want me to do? hold her whilst eating?) Needless to say we got our big table in the end (my other half always gets his own way lol)

The rides were average but then i guess nothing is ever going to compare to disneyworld now.All day i found myself saying at disneyworld.........

They had a being discovered contest going on there where you sing to the judges and audience. The thorpe park staff tried to bully me into doing it but i couldnt im not that confident, lol.Jo o meara was one of the judges (s club 7) so we met her afterwards.

And thats all i have to say about that.. :D

The last theme pack I went to was Chessington World of Adventures but that was ages ago. I went on Rameses Revenge about 5 times but the last time was not that great as somebody next to me was sick so that was not so good.

Although i have never been Alton towers. (im going in July :cheer: ) The rides well there's Oblivion imagine going up 200 feet in the air turned to look directly at the floor held there for 5 seconds then dropped at 4.5 G's and steeper than sky diving then you go through a hole in the floor into pitch black then come up back into day light. Then there's Nemesis constantly voted best theme park ride in the UK by United Kingdom Roller coaster club. Then there's Air basically like flying. There's to much to say i'd be here all night. If you want anymore info got to www.alton-towers.co.uk
