Jack disowns Robert

Jack (Clive Hornby) announces to Robert (Karl Davies), Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) and Daz (Luke Tittensor) that they are going to the police to report the fire, and he takes Robert’s willingness as a sign he wasn’t involved. However, Robert later becomes nervous and confesses the truth to Jack. Despite Robert’s attempt to play the victim, Jack drags his son off to the Kings’ office.

Jack insists the Kings stop their dangerous tactics or he’ll go to the police. Matthew (Matt Healy) tells him there’s no way he’d see his own son sent down but Jack tells him Robert is no son of his and walks off, leaving Robert feeling thoroughly ashamed.

Elsewhere, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) tells Simon (Dale Meeks) her offer on a house has been accepted but Simon doesn’t take it well. He receives a call, claims it’s work-related, but Nicola becomes suspicious and finds several calls from Naomi (Katie Folley) when she checks his mobile. Is Simon having an affair?





Monday 1 August 7 - 7.30pm ITV1

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is convinced Simon (Dale Meeks) is having an affair with Naomi (Katie Folley). When she spots Simon and Naomi walking into Mulberry Cottage she charges into the house shouting at Simon for cheating on her. However, Nicola is startled when Simon tells her he has a surprise in store. Has Nicola misread Simon’s odd behaviour?

Meanwhile, Rodney (Patrick Mower) has noted that Lesley’s (Sherrie Hewson) mind seems to be elsewhere and she tells him she has a secret that she’s been keeping from Simon. Later in the pub, Simon notices the concerned look on Lesley’s face and can’t help but feel worried.

Also, Val (Charlie Hardwick) has a plan to furnish the showroom at the factory but will Pollard (Chris Chittell) be impressed when he returns home to find his living room empty?


Tuesday 2 August 7 - 7.30pm ITV1

Lesley (Sherrie Hewson) shocks Simon (Dale Meeks) by confessing that the family business is almost in liquidation and her house has been repossessed. Simon is furious that he has been kept in the dark all this time and Rodney (Patrick Mower) thinks Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) should be told. However, with Nicola over the moon about Simon having bought Mulberry Cottage, can he bring himself to break the news to her?

Elsewhere, Val (Charlie Hardwick) and Pollard (Chris Chittell) are struggling with their business until local entrepreneur Brett Wright (Jack Sandle) asks to see some of their work. Val tells him to come back the following day and they hatch a plan together.

Meanwhile, Dafydd (Arwel Davies) is still at Viv’s (Deena Payne) the morning after their date. When Viv goes downstairs to help Donna (Verity Rushworth), Kelly (Adele Silva) wastes no time in trying to seduce Dafydd. Viv goes back upstairs and catches them and after telling Dafydd to leave, throws Kelly out as well. Can Donna convince Viv to let Kelly stay?



Wednesday 3 August 7 - 7.30pm ITV1

Brett Wright (Jack Sandle) arrives at Mill Cottage and Val (Charlie Hardwick) asks Lesley (Sherrie Hewson) to play along with their plan. Rodney (Patrick Mower) returns home and is surprised to see his house full of people. Quickly catching on, he decides to make Val and Pollard (Chris Chittell) suffer slightly, telling Brett details of a few made-up deals which may convince him to hire them. Will this work and win Val and Pollard their first contract?

Simon (Dale Meeks) goes to drown his sorrows in the Woolpack after seeing his accountant. Rodney threatens to tell Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) the truth if Simon doesn’t. Later, Rodney asks for an update but is Simon lying when he tells him everything is going to be fine?

Also, Max (Charlie Kemp) tells Tom (Ken Farrington) his guilty feelings about patching Jimmy (Nick Miles) up after being attacked by Daz (Luke Tittensor) and lying to Paddy (Dominic Brunt). As they start to argue, Tom lets out a secret that he’s been paying half of Max’s wages at the vets’. How does Max take the news that he’s been deceived all this time?


Thursday 4 August 7 - 7.30pm ITV1

After a few drinks, Max (Charlie Kemp) decides he doesn’t need his family’s help to make it on his own and storms out of the house, followed by Tom (Ken Farrington). Max starts to drive off but Tom is determined to stop his son leaving the village and blocks his exit. In anger, Max runs Tom over and he is knocked unconscious.

Jimmy (Nick Miles) sees everything and claims to be the driver to save his brother from being arrested for drink driving. Tom is taken to hospital but how serious is his condition?

Meanwhile, unaware of Simon’s (Dale Meeks) financial situation, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) meets with a local interior designer. When she tells Simon how much it’s actually going to cost, can he persuade Nicola that her own designs are better to avoid coming clean about their lack of funds?



Friday 5 August 7 - 7.30pm ITV1

Matthew (Matt Healy) talks things over with Jimmy (Nick Miles) and convinces him that it might be best if they take business matters into their own hands. Can they manage to get Sadie (Patsy Kensit) on-side after she promises Tom (Ken Farrington) that she’ll be his eyes and ears while he’s in hospital?

Elsewhere, despite Lesley (Sherrie Hewson) trying to stop her, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) goes furniture shopping. Lesley and Simon (Dale Meeks) have a chat with Matthew (Matt Healy) who has some bad news for them. He doesn’t want to invest in their kind of business.

Meanwhile, just when Val (Charlie Hardwick) thinks she’s got away with hiring Delilah (Hayley Tamaddon) behind Pollard’s (Chris Chittell) back he unexpectedly turns up at work forcing Delilah to hide. Pollard invites Val for dinner resulting in Delilah being locked in factory for the night.
