Razorlight have now decided to donate to charity any profits made from increased sales resulting from their Live 8 exposure.

The band were just one of the acts to benefit from increased sales boosted by their Live 8 publicity, but previously claimed that they would not be in any position to donate profits to charity, since they are still a fledgling band.

However, frontman Johnny Borrell told NME.com: "Razorlight have been involved in Make Poverty History for the past six months. Make Poverty History is an awareness campaign, however if the band earn any money from increased sales we will donate it to charity."

Pink Floyd's Dave Gilmour, Keane, Annie Lennox and Paul McCartney have made similar pledges.
