Bond girl?
Michelle Ryan has told a soap magazine that it's the right time for her to leave EastEnders and that she's after a part as a Bond girl in the next 007 movie, Casino Royale. It would sure be a step up from working on that stall! :eek:
I don't see her in the next Bond film she's not a big enough actress considering Halle Berry played the last Bond girl. She needs to get over herself if thats where she think's she's going!

I do think that Michelle Ryan has the looks but in hollywood it all goes behond that and I don't fancy her chances. That's not a personal comment but a general one and it applies to every actor/actress in eastenders. Hollywood is a tough cookie to break. Whether you are a british or amercian actress with a lifetime of acting experience you have to have the x-faxtor and be meet up to thier required standards in every inch. To me Michelle does not have that.
Good luck to her though. :)

I can't see her as a bond girl.. sightly of topic.. i would love to see her character Zoe as a bond girl.. everytime he shouts a bad guy, she will cry and blame herself on it :rotfl:

I can't see her following in the footsteps of Denise Richards and the fab Halle Berry. Her acting is just plain average, nothing special :thumbsdow

Casino Royale?:confused: .. was that not already a bond movie.. i know it was the first bond book and it think David Niven may have played bond or George Lathenby... I could be wrong

In Soaplife issue 87 there is a piece on MIchelle Ryan,20 things
"No.14: Michelle's Ultimate Ambition is to crack hollywood and play a bond girl.

In a few years maybe but Michelle's first main telly role was in EE (she was only in the worst witch and an episode of burnside before) when she was 15 she is only 20 now, i don't think she will be able to go from EE straight to hollywood and do a bond film,and it would be one of the main roles aswell!
But good luck to MIchelle in whatever she does!

yeah, i also heard rachel stevens wanted 2 do it. She would be MUCH better, but not THAT much :) lolz
Rachel Stevens isn't in a high enough position to get the part, she isn't even a proper actress unless you count Miami, Hollywood 7 etc She's a rubbish actress anyway!

oh yeah, she can't act very well but she can do the voice thing, personally i can see her doing spoofs like Johnny English or something. I think thats more her wave lenght. Even Natalie Embrulia wasn't high enough to get into a James Bond so she had to make do with Rowan Atkinson. A far cry from Pierce Brosnan if you ask me

I some how think Rachel has got a higher chance of going to a bond film than Michelle.
I like Zoe and im sad shes leaving Eastenders but y'know, good luck to her :)

no offence to either of them, but i really dont think that they stand much of a chance of appearing in a bond film
Slightly of topic: Which character do you think would make a good bond girl.. I say Chrissie.. she faked the calls from Den and used the knowledge she had about den and zoe to her own benefit...

i dunno, i can see Tina being one. It's just the way she looks compared to the others. Only prob is that we don't know much about her. But i can imagin her doing it,even so.

Bond girls slightly classy one is a popstar and not exactly great at that and a so called actor oh how we cringed at Miami and LA 7 **SHIVERS** and we have a soap charater who whines, cries, ponders what she did wrong then goe and does it all again

remember not to get characters messed up with thpeople playing them. Tracy-Ann Oberman doesn't have the status to do it

I don't think any of the actresses in ee have got what it's take to be a bond girl. There are some great actresses in ee (Letitia Dean, Jessie Wallace, Tracey Ann) but they are mearly stars of a britsh soap. In hollywood the stakes are held alot higher than that. Acting ability is just one the essential aspects. However, looks, talent, personality, screen presence and a recognisable actress is just some of the things they consider. I can imagine that there are lots of screen test where you go against much higher established actresses who have more to offer than the average british actress! Thats hollywood for you though......
As for Rachel Stevens she hasn't got a chance in hell!

I think she's getting a bit big for her boots but good luck to her,and i for one won't miss her charector,but when i saw her on good morning she seemed nice,and came over a lot better than jessie wallace or tracey oberman and didn't seem abit big headed,but talking of hollywood i don't think shane ritchies gonna make it either,i think they should realise where their breads buttered and enjoy what fame they've got ,while they've got it.
If either Rachel or Michelle become bond girls I will brake down in tears! I don't think that James Bond movies expectations have yet become so low, do you? I cant see either of them running round guns in both hands shooting anyone they see! I don't think any of the women from eastenders could be bond girls (no offence)
I agree with *JSW* that she seriously needs to get over her self if she thinks she's in a high enough position to do that. And as for Rachel, she's hardly a good pop star let alone a bond girl
