From reading through post on last night exit... I wonder what people opinion on worse/best exits in EE
I loved Steve Owen's exit and Mel's was great too... Minty pretending to be Phil when his left was funny too..
I hate the "back of a black cab" exits.. not to exciting and you know it leaves the door open for a comeback

The worst exit has to be the Ferreira's last night. They weren't even given the Friday night episode to leave!
Spencer Moon's non-existant exits got to be the worest for me!

I think the saddest exit was David Wicks.. having his son Joe run after the car asking him not to leave....
also did karinna have no belongings? she jumped in the car and left with them without picking up her clothes or anything!

Her dad left the same way.. on minute on EE and then we discover he left the family a mountain of Depts.... I dont' think there arrrival was exciting either...

How did Simon wicks leave??? :) Mind has gone totally blank!
Simon wicks left with Cindy and stephen to live on a farm after Ian found out he was not the father and want to kill Simon by tampering with the breaks on the van.. he eventually left Cindy and Stephen in UK and Ian found them again..

I know that Kathleen hutchison wanted to get rid of the Ferrerias but their exit was a complete joke :rotfl: EE could have produced a better exit than that :rolleyes:
They came in as they went out.. nothing special :)

No one seemed to care that they were leaving. They just waved them off and got over it lol
Kate's and Spencers exits were pretty boring.. i thought the Ferreiras exit was ok, at least they left happy.

the death of Andy Hunter was a bit pathetic in my opinion.....the look on his face when Johnny was about 2 push him over!

I agree that the Ferreira's have got to have had one of the worst exits we've seen in EE ! Johnny doesn't want them to stay in the square, so after a few seconds conversation they to leave. They don't try to sort it out, or bargain with him, that's it everything's over, pathetic!
None of the actors want their exit to be from the back of a taxi, do they? They can't be very good characters, if they are not worth a good send off. I don't know what my best exit has been. I thought Grant Mitchells was good, everyone thinking he was dead, and then seeing him in the airport waving goodbye to Beppe as he was walking onto the plane, heading to South America. That was classic Grant.
Tiffany getting run over by Frank Butcher was quite good, and Jamie getting run over by Martin Fowler wasn't as great, but did provide some good drama.
The exit suited the characters i guess
I think Dens exit was good, as were Steve Owen, Mel, Laura and Janine! Janine's was fantastic!
I think worst exits...hmm...Ethel, Lisa, Chrissie (the first time she left Den), Ferreiras, Kat, Kate ohh the list goes on and on...
At least the Ferreiras got to say goodbye to everyone on their little tour of the Square - I didn't realise Sasha had left too though, I just assumed she'd been let off the hook and was staying at least for a little while!

Mmmm, I only wish Ronnie had fallen out the side window. Sasha's gone? Since when?
What annoys me though is if EE was to rid Albert Sq. of Kareena and co. then why oh why bother with the rushed drug storyline? Seriously, 'twas pointless.

I agree I think it was the owrst exit i have ever seen in ANY soap !!! I mean even the market traders didnt really blink as the family were leaving

I noticed that one minute by Mickey no bags then just runs and gets in the car she's probably still wearing the same clothes smelly girl

Yes, and they've got no money and nowhere to stay. It's going to be a long time before she gets to change those clothes...
EUGH bad thought they will be sleeping in that car as well i bet yucky they should ahve thrown her out until she got her clothes
Somehow I just couldn't see Johnny Allen being so sweet to offer them a way out of trouble. After seeing what he did to Andy, that whole family was very lucky. It was just so totally out of character for Johnny to let them leave without incident.
I don't think it was out of character for Johnny - he said himself that Andy's death bothered him so I don't think he'd have been prepared to bump off a whole family. And it's not as if he let them off that lightly - they all had to get out of Walford with hardly any notice! I know some viewers were longing to see the back of them, but in the context of the soap, it was meant to be a big upheaval with them having to give up a house, business, friends, relationships, etc. It was hardly a slap on the wrist!

i think eastenders are rubbish for fires. they never kill off any of their characters (hardly anyway) they always send them off in a black cab. :thumbsdow
