Coronation Street bosses have denied reports that two of its stars plan to leave the soap.
Following reports that actresses Nikki Sanderson (Candice Stowe) and Debra Stephenson (Frankie Baldwin) intend to leave the soap when their current contracts expire, a spokewoman from the show has stated that they are definitely staying in the Street.
She also denied rumours that Sanderson plans to marry off-screen boyfriend Danny Young, who plays Warren Baldwin in the programme.
"They're very happy together but they are not getting married," she said.
"Neither Nikki or Debra has any intention of leaving the soap. They are both having a ball."
