As some of you know, I am chairman of the Trust that runs the West Cliff Theatre in Clacton. We have just booked in a new play called "You're Never Too Old" for September. One of the stars is Graham Cole! I'm so looking forward to meeting him. :cheer::thumbsup:

The other star, by the way, is Diane Keen.

I love how you casually name drop Diane Keen at the end of your post as if it's no big deal. http://www.picgifs.com/smileys/smileys-and-emoticons/happy/smileys-happy-514478.gif (http://www.picgifs.com/smileys/)

What a coup! http://www.picgifs.com/smileys/smileys-and-emoticons/cheers/smileys-cheers-543524.gif (http://www.picgifs.com/smileys/)

Apparently there is a scene in the play where she has to appear naked and dance in front of Graham Cole........

Only joking!

It's tonight. I'll be off to the theatre soon to see the play. Can't guarantee any photos but I'll see what I can do.

It was a really good night. Graham Cole was brilliant. Diane Keen was good as well but I thought she was a bit outshone by Graham. The play itself was excellent. It was just a one act one hour long play, but it was quite humorous with some moments of sadness and a really good twist at the end. It also contained a number of well constructed observations on life in general.

If "You're Never Too Old" comes to a theatre near you, I'd strongly advise you to get along and see it.

Sorry, couldn't get any photos though....

I met Graham Cole again tonight. He has now actually moved to Clacton and lives here. Tonight he came to my theatre to see our Youth Group's production of Summer Holiday. So we had a brief chat before the show.
