Well atleast the snow had a reason to be there unlike on Ashley and Claires wedding day when Corrie was snowing with fake snow that was supposed to be natural.

Corrie was rubbish, Karen and Traceyluv yawwwwn. We were made to believe Karen was going on xmas day too but she stayed until boxing day.

i only watched corrie on xmas day/boxing day for the end of the karen/tracey storyline as i dont normally watch it but i thought it sounded quite good. it was alright, but no where near as good as ee was

It just goes to show that its horses for courses. I watched both soaps over Christmas and felt Corrie was superior. Christmas on EE was good compared to the run up and subsequent episodes prior to the departure of LB.
I agree that the viewing figures disagree with me but then EE always does well at Christmas despite the public and critics perception of the show in the preceding weeks.
EE goes hand in hand with the Queens speech on xmas day.

Harry Potter did help their victory as well, according to reserach conducting by the University of Bristol Media Studies department, on behalf of BARB. I preferred Corrie's xmas day myself, though it wasn't exactly unmissable (well any scenes with Kate Ford in are unsurprisingly naff :thumbsdow). EE's was ok but below average IMO. I did like the line 'Christmas is cancelled' from Den though. :cool:

HP clashed with part of Corrie.
the fake snow was so rubbish on corrie xmas day 04! it was suppose to look real but you could so tell it wasnt. ee was way better that day even though i missed most of it!

EE's snow was supposed to be fake atleast it was coming from a snow machine and wasn't supposed to look real.
The tans have got nothing to do with this and Kat has been surprisingly paler since she got back. I haven't seen one episode where I've thought she looks particularly orange especially not how she used to look.
I do wish you would change the record - from Kat's tan to the Cardboard funfair you NEVER give up!!!

I think the whole idea of turning the Vic into a place to get married was silly but hopefully that's going to be the last wedding in there.

It was absolutely Great!!

Best wedding ever for me, i cried my eyes out. They were just made for each other and when they finally tied the knot i cried! lol They were the best couple in my eyes and Kats dress was gorgeous! lol
