Most of the best comedies have been on the BBC.

I don't actually like all of these but I'm just naming them to show they seem to have the most too:

One Foot In The Grave
The vicar Of Dibley
French And Saunders
Absolutely Fabulous
Two Pints Of Lager
Little Britain
My Hero
My Family
2point4children
Only Fools And Horses

etc....

To be honest, I cant actually think of any comedy shows on ITV  apart from the one set in the hardware shop (I didn't like that). There will have been quite a few, but I cant think at the moment.

ITV will have had it's fair share but to be honest the Beeb have had some amazing ones.

I don't watch a lot of BBC3 to be honest.Well if you ever see a comedy series video in the shops called "Nighty night," then I recommend buying it! You'll love it, it's really funny. The main character - Jill, is hilarious! :D

I've gone for Only Fools and Horses as I can just watch these over and over and still laugh out loud - I'm like that with Friends too that's really my joint favourite I suppose but went for OFAH since its been around longer! Both are my favourite along with Men Behaving Badly. I also really love As Time Goes By, some of the sarcasm in it is ace, suits my humour.

Friends is the best comedy show, although Only Fools and Horses is classic(specially love Trigger), also a big fan of The Vicar of Dibley. Sorry but I don't find Little Britain in the least bit funny, I think it's a dreadful show.

Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps.

What they get away with is classic and the five main actors are all brilliant.

Loving gaz and donna especially

Will Mellor and Ralf Little - two of the best natural male comic actors.

Well my other choice is Gimme Gimme Gimme - because it reminded me of me and my friend (minus the fact we don't share a flat together). It was sad when Tom (Farrell), played by The Thin Blue Line & Hell's Kitchen star James Dreyfus waved goodbye to Linda La Hughes (Kathy Burke) to start his career on Crossroads - which I thought was a bit of a disappointing ending, considering it had ran for 3 or 4 years. Still he'll be back soon taking over Ardal O'Hanlon's role in My Hero. I wonder if he'll play a Thermoman, which would be rather interesting to see. But he did play a straight character when he played Constable Goodie.

Oh yes and Jez, Suze (the posh husband and wife who lived next door to Tom and Linda) and Beryl (the landlady) were quite funny in places as well.
