Neighbours bosses have announced that singer-songwriter Amali Ward has filmed a guest appearance on the soap.
The former Australian Idol contestant has made her acting debut with the long-running show. She will be on screen next week in Australia and on October 21 for UK viewers.

Ward features in scenes alongside established cast members Stefan Dennis (Paul Robinson), Alan Fletcher (Karl Kennedy) and Jackie Woodburne (Susan Kennedy). She then performs a song at Charlie's Bar which was written especially for the episode.
She commented: "It was amazing to do my first scenes with Paul Robinson - he is such an icon on Neighbours which I've been watching for years - and then to meet Karl and Susan. It was a great experience.
"The song wasn't my usual style which made it fun to do something different."
Ward competed on Australian Idol's second series in 2004. She recently released her debut album Back in Time under her own independent label.
