When Carl arrives at his brother Kelvin's flat, he is unhappy to discover his new set of friends. Making his disapproval clear, Carl turns to leave but is chased after being suspected as a grass.
As the chase escalates, a fall leaves both parties injured. Arriving at the ambulance station, Iain tries to convince Carl to see a doctor, but it's left up to Jeff to take the lead. The case tests Iain and Jeff's ability to get on.
Meanwhile, Jamie treats a patient complaining of chest pains. Suspecting they are fake, he sets about trying to find out the truth behind this sudden change in health. Is the patient faking it to get his mother's attention?
