As Big Mac heads off on the Holby Half Marathon, he spots fellow runner Thelma in distress.
Helping her to her feet, the unlucky-in-love porter senses a spark, but when Thelma mistakes him for a doctor, he's not quick to put her straight.
Elsewhere in Holby, a massive explosion rocks a hair salon, sending Chloe and her brother Neil into the ED. With Chloe's face and eye severely injured, Ash is forced to perform a daring emergency procedure to save her sight. But as he works well with the ED team, Ash soon realises that Zoe is less than impressed with what she believes is his reckless attitude.
Meanwhile, Linda, Robyn and Sam have to unravel the mystery surrounding Morris and his son Simon.
