TX time to be confirmed

Lloyd and Scarlett attend a vigil for local man Wesley Royce. It begins peacefully, but as tensions build, trouble breaks out between the crowd and the police. As the violence worsens, Lloyd and Scarlett become separated. Seduced by the atmosphere, Scarlett does something she'll live to regret…

Jeff and Dixie are also caught up in the violence when they try to treat a young mother who's suffering from anaphylactic shock. As the baying crowd try to stop the ambulance getting through, Jeff and Dixie have to use all their experience to get the dying Amber to the ED.

Meanwhile, Yvonne and Jordan are called to give a statement to the Independent Police Complaints Commission, which is investigating Wesley's death.

Under fire from the investigators, Yvonne thinks Jordan isn't supporting her and they argue. Frustrated and now off the case, Yvonne sees the situation worsen and ventures out into the night to take matters into her own hands.

Jeff and Dixie also get their own red-button special on Saturday after the first episode has aired.

'The Kids Aren't Alright' will explore the pair's unusual relationship as the riot rages around their immobile ambulance. As they try to tend to injured looters, a man named JJ escapes from the police and takes refuge in the back of their ambulance.

Riled, Jeff approaches JJ and a scuffle breaks out in which the the paramedic gets hurt. As Dixie tends to his injury, he reveals his guilt at not having been in touch with his kids.

He explains that the reason for his estrangement is that he has not found a way to explain the real reason he married Dixie. Shocked, Dixie persuades him to pick up the phone.
