Thought she'd left the Village, never to return? Thought there were too many bad memories around the old haunts? Wrong on both counts.
Fleeting
Sure enough, Miss Debbie Dean, aka actress Jodi Albert, is returning to HOLLYOAKS - but only for a fleeting visit.
She is set to alight in Chester's finest fictional suburb to attend the forthcoming nuptials of brother Jake and Becca.
Feet
The wedding isn't due to appear on screen for a few months, but filming has already begun on the HOLLYOAKS sets and Jodi has spent a couple of days back in front of the cameras.
The bulk of her scenes take place in, naturally, The Dog In The Pond, location of the wedding reception and conveniently situated just a few feet from the hollyoaks.com office...
Tables
By the looks of it the wedding proves to be an eventful affair, involving the ubiquitous clutch of over-concerned relatives, over-emotional colleagues and over-laden buffet tables.
Quite how and where Debbie makes her reappearance isn't entirely clear, but we'll have more information on the 'OAKS wedding of the year as and when we get it...

really good to hear debbie is coming back.
she is a great actress
I heard she was joining EastEnders, thank god it's not true.
maybe it will turn full time as she isnt going to be in footballers wives
inside soap said the show hasnt veen started casting new characters yet and she isnt even being considered

I think she is quite a good actress compared to some of the other wooden people in the show! I thought the scenes with her and Dan towards the end were quite touching!
Look at Zara, Jeremy and Cameron!

Yes she has a huge male following. us women rate her on her acting and i felt she was no different from the others, she is a soap actress not a drama actress

i know she does, shes really harsh about it sometimes too! jodi has nice hair too lol!
she is not the greatest actress in the world. but i love the debbie character. glad they bought er back for a wedding instead of giving some sill y excuse as to why she cant be there like other eastenders and other soaps!

I'm glas her and Jake got back together they are so suited. He was hilarious on the horse. I wonder what clumsy mistakes will happen at the wedding.

i think that the person that plays becca (ali someone, forgot her name) is actually quite a good actress

your so harsh about hollyoaks. some of the actors on there are really good, there are some rubbish ones but its like that in all soaps

Not even the worst actors in the big 3 are as bad as the Hollyoaks lot. Some of them can show talent but it's the ridiculous directing, scripts and plotlines that leads to them all coming across as wooden. Jack Osbourne is a very good actor I don't know the actors name sorry. It seems to be the older ones who're good. Most of them are just airheads cast purely based on appearence.

i dont think thats true. some of the storylines are good as well, i agree some of them are really farfetched and silly, but not all of them. and yes jack osbourne is a good actor (his names something mckenna i think, i think his first name starts with j but cant remember it at the mo), but so are some of the younger actors. and yes, some of them are probably just cast for their looks but i dont think others were, and i really cant see how some of them were cast at all! but i dont think its fair that everyone on there is classed in the same catergory
Liz Burton, Justin Burton, Jack Osbourne, Frankie Dean etc are half decent characters who just need decent plotlines. Things need to be handled a little bit more seriously to stop the show becoming a joke.

i agree that justin, jack and frankie are good characters and i think chris fountain who plays justin is a really good actor. but i have to disagree about liz, the characters awful and the person who plays her isnt that good an actress either
I think Andree Bernard is fine. I like all the more serious characters. People like Tony and O.B just pee me off.

i dont like tony either, he really annoys me, but i think obs quite funny. i just have to disagree about liz, the characters boring and the actress cant really act either imo
jodie albert is going back acting after her failed music career she might return to hollyoaks now
