Sparks continue to fly between Sahira and Greg on Holby City next week as an argument between the pair leads to a moment of passion.

When Greg (Edward MacLiam) is left in charge of the ward for the day, he agrees to let Sahira go to pick up her son when something crops up unexpectedly - even though her absence will leave him short-staffed.

Later, however, Greg panics when he learns that there's been an RTA involving a woman and a young child - fearing that it could be Sahira (Laila Rouass).

Fortunately, Sahira eventually turns up alive and well after Greg has spent a hellish day worrying about her and dealing with the mayhem caused by the staffing problem.

Greg angrily gives Sahira a piece of his mind for being gone for so long and not answering her phone - but when she argues back and explains herself, they soon end up in a clinch…

Elsewhere, Chantelle (Lauren Drummond) is put under pressure by Malick (Jimmy Akingbola) when he orders her to work more efficiently, as a decision is about to be made about whether the hospital will be given Foundation Trust status.

Malick wants Chantelle to stay on form and not be sidetracked by any "sob stories" - but she struggles to switch off her caring nature despite her best efforts.

Greg is taken aback to discover that he is in charge of the ward today. Feeling hungover, he tries to keep afloat but agrees to let Sahira go and pick up her son, leaving him short staffed.

When Elliot informs him that there has been an RTA involving a woman and a young child, Greg starts to panic, thinking that it's Sahira...

Meanwhile, Chantelle is put under the spotlight after Malick tells her that she has to be on form today, as the hospital is in the running for Foundation Trust status. Wanting to run a happy ship, Chantelle tries in vain to get rid of a persistent patient who has been discharged, but feels guilty when she realises that privately the young woman has been diagnosed with cancer.

Elsewhere, Frieda is gutted having to work with a brusque Luc for the first time. Things are terse between the two as they disagree on the treatment of a patient. Frieda ends up lying to avoid the wrath of Luc, but is surprised at his response.
