Channel 5 bosses have announced plans to celebrate this year's most memorable moments from Neighbours and Home and Away.
While both soaps are off air for their annual Christmas break, station chiefs will chart the Top 20 Aussie Soap Moments of 2011 - as voted for by viewers.
In a special event to run over five nights from Monday, December 19, the most popular storylines will be revealed. Fans can now choose their favourite story moments of the year via the Channel 5 website.
Plots on the shortlist include the revelation of Sonya's secret in Neighbours and Charlie and Brax's secret affair in Home and Away.
Others in the running include Harold Bishop's return to Ramsay Street and the arrival of the River Boys in Summer Bay.
Channel 5's countdown shows will include exclusive interviews with cast members from both soaps, as well as a sneak peek of what to expect from 2012's storylines.
Voting has opened today on the Channel 5 website and will close at midday on Friday.
