HOLBY CITY fans have been eagerly anticipating the introduction of Connie Beauchamp's husband, Michael.

He is set to make his debut in Episode 27, due to be screened on 19th April.

Michael Beauchamp is to be played by established actor Anthony Calf. Anthony's first acting role was in an episode of Dr Who.

Since then his other TV credits include Pride and Prejudice, Anna Karenina, Sirens, Lucky Jim, Indian Dreams, The Brides in the Bath, Amnesia and The Murder Room. He was also seen last year in the comedy film Dead Cool.

Watch out for Anthony's exciting debut next month - will he be a match for Connie?!

I wouldn't have thought that Connie's surname was spelt that way - sounds more like Beecham when they say it - must be a Bucket/Bouquet thing!

Should be good to see their relationship and how they interact etc. is he going to be on the staff of Holby, or just someone who appears? I can't remember if they've mentioned before whether or not he's medical?

im not sure. ive never heard him been mentioned either so not sure if he's from the medical profession or not. should be interesting anyway!

Hi, I can't remember where I read it, might have been the press office spoilers, but Connie's husband is on the board. She is going to be forced to resign once Will's wife accuses her of bullying Will when he was alive and I think her husband is the chairman

I hope Connie stays in it, especially after Amandas performance in last nites episode, shes was fantastic, she acted her little socks off. It was just so nice to see the softer and emotional side of Connie last nite as well.
She cant resign!!
