CORONATION Street veteran Mike Baldwin is to find out he has a secret son from a fling 40 years ago - his Cockney "nephew" Danny.

Danny was born after his mum Viv had a one-night stand with Mike when she was married to his brother Harry Baldwin.

Now Harry's died, Viv - played by Patricia Brake - decides to finally tell Mike the truth.

Then Mike has to decide if he will tell Danny. A source said: "It will be highly emotional gripping stuff."

This is rumor not fact yet so dont get confused yet. At the moment danny is his nephew.

I think he has two sons. but if danny turns out to be his son then he will have three.

i think this would be a good storyline as everyone knows what mike used to be like so there are no end of possibilities for the ammount of hidden kids he could have but if they are doing the other storyline - altzimers then i dont think they should do this one as they wouldnt get explored properly or this could be the thing to see him go over the edge and seeing dannys reaction to finding out he his his father and he has just develored a serious illness so cant give him the answers he disires would be good. high drama for the baldwins
