Heartbreak on Wisteria Lane: So what do you do when you think your boyfriend maybe,coulda,killed somebody? Susan after consulting with friends, opts to tell the police that Mrs. Huber's bloody braclet was found in Mike's garage. Her initial relief at being his alibi for the night of Mrs. Huber's death is short lived when she learns he has a record-- for drug dealing and manslaughter. When he comes to talk to her, she chases him away. At least one person is willing to help Mike, Deirdre's dad who is ready to use his considerable fortune to save Mike's hide.
A mother's love: Prim and proper Bree finds a condom in the laundry basket and after assuming it belonged to her wandering husband, turns her focus on son Andrew. Andrew in turn rats out sister Danielle, the president of the school abstinence club. When Danielle tells mommy dearest that she's planning to have sex with boyfriend John, Bree confronts John and tells him to break things off with her daughter with as much venom as she can muster.
An offer she can refuse: Gabrielle gets a special invation from new lawn boy Justin to trim her bushes. When she turns him down he threatens to reveal her previous affair with John to her husband. It's for his own good: Lynette's husband Tom is in line for a big promotion after his office nemesis suffers a heart attack, and she's all in favour until she learns he will have to do a lot of travelling. A well dropped hint to the boss' wife, however, quickly kills tom's promotion.
