Hit me with your best shot: Mike continued his hunt for the mysterious Deirdre. He'd thought he knew where she was living, so he started breaking into homes looking for her. When an angry homeowner shot him, a pal came over and removed the bullet. But when Mike started bleeding at a valentine's day dinner with Susan, he had to go to hospital, and the cops showed up and started asking questions. They might ask more when they learn that Martha Huber's braclet was found in Mike's garage--with blood on it.

Having by Baby: Oh,Susan, always jumping to conclusions. When she saw Mike treat Lynette's sons with love, she began to worry that he wouldn't stay with her if she wouldn't have more children. Kids were the last thing on Mike's mind, As Susan learned when her formal Valentine's dinner turned out like something resembling the bloody Valentine day massacre instead.

Do you really want to hurt me: Bree and Rex decided that the couple who plays together, stays together. Bree thought if she could only understand Rex's need for domination, she could save her marriage. She consented to try out her husband's hobby, under one condition: His beloved handcuffs needed to take a spin through the dishwasher first.

Once upon a mattress: Gabrielle continued her low- rent modeling career with a job lolling on mattresses for a store called Siesta King. When her rudeness to the customers got her fired, she ended up taking a job at a department store cosmetic counter. Once there, she came face to face with karma in the form of Yao Lin, the made she'd rudely fired.

Howdy, neighbour: Lynette's boys continue to run roughshod through Wisteria Lane. Their thefts embroil Lynette in a feud with neighbour Karen McCloskey, who runs over a bike and finds herself with egg on her face, courtesy of Lynette. But when Lynette finally forces her boys to apologize, they learn that Mrs. McCloskey is a mom who lost her son when he was just a boy, and understands children more than she pretends to.

Protecting his own: Paul Young has plenty of secrets, and it seems another one is revealed each week. Mrs. Huber's sister Felicia doesn't yet know that Paul killed Martha, but she dose know that she recognizes Mary Alice as a woman named Angela who worked with her in Utah. Paul's denials didn't convince the wily Felicia, who shows no sign of leaving her late sister's former home any time soon.
