Based on the Chris Ryan book of the same name, Strike Back has an international cast led by Richard Armitage and Andrew Lincoln and including Toby Stephens, Ewen Bremner, Jodhi May, Dhaffer L'Abidine, Orla Brady, Shelley Conn and Colin Salmon.
Strike Back portrays the lives and missions of a British Special Forces unit, concentrating on two unit members: Hugh Collinson (Lincoln) and John Porter (Armitage). Porter and Collinson were involved in a failed mission on the eve of the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Events have conspired to bring them together again.
The six-episode story takes the newly formed team through three separate narratives set in Iraq, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
